The name "Colombo" is the Italian form of "Colomba" the latin word for "dove", which is the "Bird of Peace". It is in the spirit of peace that friends and family gather to celebrate the everyday occurrences that touch our lives. Great food, drink and conversations are the cornerstones for the sharing of these convivial, day-to-day passions. Colombo's Cafe & Pastries stands for the beloved concept born in Italy of the "gathering place"... Truly a place that "welcomes everyone, everyday... DELICIOUS

My boyfriend and I both had the gnocchi and it was absolutely to die for. Definitely some awesome Italian food. A large menu and a variety of drinks. I went with a watermelon sangria and it was the perfect treat on a hot day. We had a lovely dinner. My only complaint was that the service was a bit... read more

My husband and I visited the week of July 5th and had some subpar service at lunchtime. We brought this to the manager's attention and he promptly addressed the matter to quite frankly, beyond our satisfaction. We enjoyed the food and the staff so much we came back for dinner the next night and it was fantastic! Can't wait to... More

We were told that this was a good restaurant to visit and so we did on our first day in Hyannis....and then again on our second day! Our first visit was a late lunch and my daughter and I decided to split a meal. We ordered the Sole Picatta and it was the BEST ever! My daughter is quite new... More

The hostess was very friendly as she seated us. Our server explained the dinner specials. Service was prompt. We ordered the Mediterranean pizza. It was excellent! Our server made sure our beverage glasses were filled. Server also explained dessert menu. Both times that we ate at Columbo's was excellent. We will come back again.

We have been vacationing for about 5 years on the Cape and one of our favorite restaurants is Colombo's. We often eat there several time during our stay. Available parking nearby makes it a convenient location in downtown Hyannis. We have never been disappointed in the high quality of their food or drinks. The atmosphere is warm and inviting whether... More

We have eaten at Columbo's many times. They have an extensive, reasonably priced wine list, with many thoughtful, reasonable selections from Italy, the focus of the cuisine. The Sicilian Nero D'Avola is our usual selection. Don't miss their homemade pasta selections: the linguini with clam sauce at only $17.95, is spicy, and full of minced clams along with fresh little... More

Me and two friends are new to the Hyannis area and decided to eat out . We stumbled across Colombo's. It has a great outside appearance, nice facility with a good vibe inside also ! We were greeted by a very friendly lady at the door who was chatting to us and making a joke. She clearly knew we were... More

A great spot in the center of town, in the middle of Cape Cod. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner the other night at Colombo's. Plenty of public parking, even with all the snow, right adjacent to the restaurant. Service was great, waiter very knowledgeable and friendly, My wife had a chablis and I started off with a Vodka & Seven,... More

We often visit Hyannis,MA. Main St. holds many of the best restaurants in the region. We visit Colombo's often. When dining there expect it to be crowded and noisy and have a great wait staff and delicious food at a fair value. This trip I tried their Fra Diavlo and I loved it. The other 3 at the table loved... More

You know when you find a quality restaurant and this is one of them. Consistently great food and service. Professional plating, the finest preparation of quality products, exceptional wait staff and bartenders, make this a dinning experience you don't mind paying for. The Cape in the winter needs more places like this to enjoy a great meal. I love it.
