The name "Colombo" is the Italian form of "Colomba" the latin word for "dove", which is the "Bird of Peace". It is in the spirit of peace that friends and family gather to celebrate the everyday occurrences that touch our lives. Great food, drink and conversations are the cornerstones for the sharing of these convivial, day-to-day passions. Colombo's Cafe & Pastries stands for the beloved concept born in Italy of the "gathering place"... Truly a place that "welcomes everyone, everyday... At any time" translating as "Benvenuti a tutti" in Italian, whereby the tried and true, centuries-old tradition of "all are welcome" prevails.Open seven days a week, year round, from 11:30am for lunch and dinner.

Had lunch with three friends today and thoroughly enjoyed the eggplant panini and the meatball panini. Two of us decided to order one of each and split them and I'd be hard pressed to say which I liked better. I'm Italian and am fussy about red sauce especially and have never ordered meatballs at a restaurant. I make this food... More

We have been to Colombo's many times, and while the meatballs, pizza (you can see the chefs tossing the dough), and pasta dishes are all good, there are two fail safe standouts that are truly worth a trip here. The linguine with clams is made with house made linguine and loads of chopped clams, and adorned with fresh, local littlenecks.... More

We had a reservation for 6 pm, early. We were anxious to catch up with 4 friends but felt rushed. It's very quiet in January on the Cape and we were disappointed with multiple trips to our table to remove a glass or two. We all got the hint. Also, in ordering substitutions no matter what cost $2. My dinner came... More

We were there on a Saturday night in the off-season and it was packed. The reputation of this restaurant is no secret. We had to eat at the bar, but that was OK since the bar is beautiful (the bar itself is made out of a huge slab of Italian marble) and the bartender was very friendly. Our food came... More

Following a late lunch, my wife & I wanted something sweet. Our server suggested rather that eating dessert there, we go down the street to Colombo's for cappuccino and cannoli, which we did. Colombo's did not disappoint! We both had a cappuccino and chocolate covered cannoli. So what makes their cannoli special? Every on is filled with fresh ricotta cheese!... More

Excellent Italian style restaurant, at least the food is, but as it's in the USA it's lay-out is to the American standard. Eating area with normal tables, but two bar areas with stools for drinking / watching TV. Pleasant atmosphere, efficient staff, generally good food and very popular. Saturday nights you certainly have to pre-book to be sure of getting... More
