Description: The name "Colombo" is the Italian form of "Colomba" the latin word for "dove", which is the "Bird of Peace". It is in the spirit of peace that friends and family gather to celebrate the everyday occurrences that touch our lives. Great food, drink and conversations are the cornerstones for the sharing of these convivial, day-to-day passions. Colombo's Cafe & Pastries stands for the beloved concept born in Italy of the "gathering place"... Truly a place that "welcomes everyone, everyday... At any time" translating as "Benvenuti a tutti" in Italian, whereby the tried and true, centuries-old tradition of "all are welcome" prevails.Open seven days a week, year round, from 11:30am for lunch and dinner.

We often visit Hyannis,MA. Main St. holds many of the best restaurants in the region. We visit Colombo's often. When dining there expect it to be crowded and noisy and have a great wait staff and delicious food at a fair value. This trip I tried their Fra Diavlo and I loved it. The other 3 at the table loved... More

You know when you find a quality restaurant and this is one of them. Consistently great food and service. Professional plating, the finest preparation of quality products, exceptional wait staff and bartenders, make this a dinning experience you don't mind paying for. The Cape in the winter needs more places like this to enjoy a great meal. I love it.

Had been here several times for a working lunch or dinner; the food and service was so good I started coming here with friends and family! Cheerful staff; nice atmosphere, and a variety of delicious appetizers, salads ; try the iceberg wedge and blue cheese), entrees, and desserts! Many fine pasta dishes, and fantastic pizza! Columbos has excellent food; very attentive, not intrusive wait staff; moderately priced offerings. However, yes, there is a however, the last three times we visited our order was incorrect. We pointed out the error to our server but we opted to go with what was placed in front of us as we did not want to wait for the order... More

I'd heard of Colombo's for years but had never been until recently. We went for a GNO dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food really was! Service was attentive without being overbearing, atmosphere was nice and the food was really, really good! Portions were generous without being ridiculous but you didn't go home hungry either. Salmon was... More

We were seated at the outer bar and it was very noisy due to acoustics. We were a large party yet the people who ordered first got their food last and it was a 45 minute wait. This is the off-season I cannot imagine what it is like in the summer. Yummy yummy desserts.

Really good plentiful portions. Lots of choices including great specials and tasty pizza and pastas decisions, decisions...Never have room for dessert but ALWAYS have some pastries boxed up to go. Even when they are busy, there is a comfortable place to wait (never a long wait). Waitstaff friendly, helpful, and attentive. What more could you ask for. It's our go... More

I love Colombo's, although they have taken it off the menu, their Scallops D'Angelo is one of my favorite meals. The Chicken Toscano is amazing, very flavorful and light. I come here for my birthday every year, and Colombo's is always our go-to restaurant in Hyannis. I have never had bad service and will continue to frequent Colombo's.

Perhaps it was the atmosphere, maybe the service ... no real complaint, but wife and I agreed ..... something has changed. I recall a more established wait staff ... older, more dignified ... a new generation has taken over; "Hey guys," has replaced a more staid greeting. Service was okay, No objections, but, there seems to be something going on... More
