Perhaps it was the atmosphere, maybe the service ... no real complaint, but wife and I agreed ..... something has changed. I recall a more established wait staff ... older, more dignified ... a new generation has taken over; "Hey guys," has replaced a more staid greeting. Service was okay, No objections, but, there seems to be something going on... More

My friend and I sat the "outdoor" bar at Colombo's recently for drinks and appetizers. The "outdoor" is really an indoor bar with windows that open up onto a parking lot.The drinks and food were average, but the service was poor. My first drink was Prosecco and it was flat - poured directly from the bottom of the bottle. I... More

Last weekend four of us enjoyed a terrific meal at Colombos. The wait staff is always pleasant and the chef is accomodating. My friend and I ordered something not on the menu and the chef said, "O!" It was deeeeelicious! All of us were happy and there was enough to take home for lunch the next day. Prices are reasonable... More

The first negative about our visit was the poor attitude of the staff. We were greeted by a very disinterested girl who told us to go inside to be seated even though she was stood outside by a sign which said please wait here to be seated! We then sat at our table (having gone through a debacle to get... More

outside of Italy, of course. Don't be fooled by "cafe and pastries-" while their desserts are delicious, they have a full italian menu. The prices aren't "cafe" either - but trust me, it's worth it.

We have been to Hyannis many times and have found it challenging to find a restaurant for lunch and casual dinners that has good, healthy options without everything being deep fried. Once we found Colombo's we almost never eat out anywhere else. The food is always excellent. Their Italian sauces are top notch. The salads are wonderful and fresh. This... More

The service we had wasn't great, but I think I would be willing to give Colombo's another try because our waiter did try to make it up to us and the food was very good. Maybe we just had bad luck because we went for dinner later at night or something. We were seated quickly, but then waited half an... More

I have been to Colombo's many times and each time I have a great dining experience. This time the mussels order included over half that had not opened. Of course, those were not supposed to leave the kitchen. Caeser, who is a service pro, not only comped us a chowder, but brought out a perfect dish of mussels. I'm already... More

I ordered the swordfish with a red sauce. I had never had a red sauce with swordfish before so that was new. The pasta it came with was delicious. My boyfriend had braised steak tips. He thoroughly enjoyed them! The best part was the tiramisu that we had for dessert. It was by far the best tiramisu we've ever had!
