The first negative about our visit was the poor attitude of the staff. We were greeted by a very disinterested girl who told us to go inside to be seated even though she was stood outside by a sign which said please wait here to be seated! We then sat at our table (having gone through a debacle to get... More

outside of Italy, of course. Don't be fooled by "cafe and pastries-" while their desserts are delicious, they have a full italian menu. The prices aren't "cafe" either - but trust me, it's worth it.

We have been to Hyannis many times and have found it challenging to find a restaurant for lunch and casual dinners that has good, healthy options without everything being deep fried. Once we found Colombo's we almost never eat out anywhere else. The food is always excellent. Their Italian sauces are top notch. The salads are wonderful and fresh. This... More

The service we had wasn't great, but I think I would be willing to give Colombo's another try because our waiter did try to make it up to us and the food was very good. Maybe we just had bad luck because we went for dinner later at night or something. We were seated quickly, but then waited half an... More

I have been to Colombo's many times and each time I have a great dining experience. This time the mussels order included over half that had not opened. Of course, those were not supposed to leave the kitchen. Caeser, who is a service pro, not only comped us a chowder, but brought out a perfect dish of mussels. I'm already... More

I ordered the swordfish with a red sauce. I had never had a red sauce with swordfish before so that was new. The pasta it came with was delicious. My boyfriend had braised steak tips. He thoroughly enjoyed them! The best part was the tiramisu that we had for dessert. It was by far the best tiramisu we've ever had!

Food is pretty average and service is usually good. On two occasions I have found that someone in the restaurant has altered the amount of the tip I left from 15% to 20%. I discovered this at the month end when checking the copies of my credit card slips to my credit card statement. The first time I reported it... More

Stopped here for a mid-week dinner with my family while on vacation. Great Italian food all around the table and good service. My wife loved the Eggplant and the Cheese Manicotti w/Meatballs was a hit for my daughter. They do have outdoor seating, but it was cool, rainy night, so we sat inside. We were near the dessert counter and... More

My husband I went here for dessert. We ordered the dessert at the counter. We decided to share a piece of Chocolate Ricotta pie. In addition I ordered a decaf coffee. The pie was ok but the coffee was cold. I told the server- she said she would reheat it. We finished the pie when the cup of coffee returned.... More
