In the best interest of time, I am providing the same essential response to your multiple anonymous reviews under different pseudo profiles and across several review sites--- First of all, to address the food that you found unpalatable; the lobster arancini each have 1-2 ounces of lobster meat per 6 ounce ball made with a lobster-corn risotto; we shuck the... It was one of those long days. We were looking for a good meal, with a comfortable warm atmosphere. We found that and more at Bridgeman's Restaurant. We were seated on the deck with a spectacular view of Nantasket Beach. The staff helped us pick our wine, we ordered by the glass, hindsight we should have got bottles. We all... More

Went impromptu based on Globe review. Hostess, bartender, waitress spunky and chatty. I line it. Meal was sad, just sad. Italian nachos a loser, chicken Parmesan better from the freezer section at Stop&Shop. Very expensive, lovely view of the water, but not worth it. Hope they get it together, but I won't be back

Based on recent bad reviews I was hesitant to go to Bridgeman's again but we really wanted a nice dinner by the water. The atmosphere and service where great. The new menu has an interesting selection of entrees along with Italian classics. I had the duck and ravioli. It was good but honestly too sweet for my palate. My husband's... More

I came to Bridgeman's once several years ago, and it was amazing. I had to opportunity to visit the area again recently and opted for dinner at Bridgeman's. Big mistake. It turns out that they are under new ownership. We were seated promptly as it was earlier in the night. Only a few tables around us were full. There seemed... More

There is a new owner here and I hope he's got a boat load of money. The service was just ok. The food was awful. We paid the bill and left without finishing our meals. We used to eat there 5-6 times a month. We'll never go back too bad!!!!!

First time here, have wanted to try Bridgeman's for some time. Food and service were just average to poor. Disappointing considering the prices. My wife had the spaghetti con frutti di mare with ink squid pasta and she loved it. I had the porcini crusted day boat haddock. The fish was so overcooked I had a hard time cutting through... More

We hadn't been to Bridgeman's in a while. With the new ownership, we thought we'd give it a try. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owners were available for helping new waitpersons. Our meal was delicious. A little pricey, but worth it. The new bistro style was very nice; we didn't feel the need to get dressed up.... More

Although it is a rather long drive, Bridgeman's had become a favorite place for us since Joe and Susan opened. We went on May 20 to celebrate my birthday to find new owners. The flaws were minimal, and it was too early in the season for my favorite dessert, but we will be back knowing that Harold, the new owner,... More
