Chicken Dutchess. Enough said!

Love love love the Chicken Dutchess here. Gigantic portion of chicken breast, breaded and seasoned beautifully, accompanied by a huge portion of mashed potatoes and broccoli, covered in Hollandaise sauce. When the craving hits, nothing else will do!

Schooner's is an old fashioned restaurant, both in the decor and the food. The food is delicious if you don't care about calories and love big portions. They have on the menu a turkey dinner that could compare with your mother's thanksgiving meal! My husband ate every morsel! Their salads are very good, so you can eat healthy there if... More

You won't find trendy small plates or fancy menu items at Schooners, but what you will find is good food at reasonable prices. Serving lunch and dinner, from lobster rolls and clam chowder to weekend prime rib and seafood specials, you won't go wrong - though on weekends, you will be waiting in line

Friendly service. Consistently good food & generous portions at reasonable prices. Variety of seafood and standard traditional entries and pizza. Fried seafood platter is enough for two or three. Across from the beach but no view, could use updated furnishings.

This place is not a great place to eat. The inside is dark, dirty, dated, and unappealing. It smells old and stale, and everything us just grungy looking. That being said, the fried seafood was pretty tasty. The atmosphere is just too gross for me to go back and enjoy a meal. I would hate to see the kitchen area... More

Hostess was nice and server was excellent. We were definitely expecting better food for the high ratings. Clam chowder was average, and seafood plates were fresh. Portion sizes were huge and everything was fresh on the plate but it lacked flavor. I had the house special with scallops and shrimp, seafood was cooked fine but the belly's were still on... More

Although a little apprehensive about eating here, because of the location and first impressions upon entering (a little run down) the food was fantastic!

we were in hull looking to purchase a motorcycle from a private seller. Lunchtime came and we decided to check this place out. Best decision we could have made ...we got the fisherman's platter and split it ....we ended up bringing some home . It had it all too scallops, shrimp, fish, bellied clams ,clam strips ,onion rings and fries... More

We came here because of the tripadvisor reviews. Just like they said, appearances are outdated. But the food was surprisingly good. We got the clam chowder, fish and chips and the baked stuffed casserole and all of it was really good. Our 3 year old son enjoyed his clam chowder as well. I recommend you come next time you're around!
