Great location with views of the Atlantic from the outdoor terrace. Food not great. Closed 2012 and did not open in 2013.

This review is long overdue but I feel compelled to update my review. I do notice that someone posted in January saying that the restaurant is under another new owner pending liquor license... Thank goodness. I am going to post about my experience in the fall that I had written in a notebook but never remembered to post. After a... More

This is a nice site for sitting outside and having a drink and appetizers. But none of the past four owners (in ten years) have been able to serve good food. Right now the restaurant is closed. Transfer of liquor license application pending so a new owner will try again.

GREAT location - the outdoor patio looks out over Nantasket beach and is one of the more stunning views available. The food is mediocre to good, standard pub food. Definitely try to sit outside here if you come on a nice day.

Close to accommodation, so an easy walk.Questioned the "out if state ID" notice, but we were advised it wouldn't be necessary. Server very nice and attentive, recommended a local beer to compliment the rib eye steaks, which were cooked to perfection. A very enjoyable experience.

The only thing safe to purchase in this restaurant should come in a bottle. Great views but their food is horrible. They need to fire the entire kitchen staff and start over. The inside of the restaurant is dirty and smells. They need to hire an experienced front of the house manager to train the staff. You wait way too... More

Boy, did I want to like Beachfire! Why is it so hard to find a waterfront restaurant with decent food? Despite the spectacular sea-side setting of this place, or maybe because of it, we get the typical phoned-in, mediocre fare of every other waterfront seafood joint from the Mid-Cape to the North Shore. (Think greasy fried seafood; burgers; limp, over-dressed... More

The restaurant had a musty, old smell which immediately turned us off. The bartender was being trained by the manager and we waited 10 mins at the bar (there were only 2 other people) to get a drink. The manager was making chocolate milkshakes for all the employees. We left after our drink unimpressed.

I love the location right on a hill overlooking the ocean, beautiful spot. We went for lunch, it was not that busy but the wait for our food and drinks was very long, once we got our food it was good but not quite what we asked for but after waiting so long we just ate it. People around us... More

Cold cooked clams, cold lobster, missed drink orde, no lobster cracker and generally slow service. Appetizer of oysters was late and didn't appear until we asked. Nice view of a lovely beach but the restaurant and service leaves you with a bad memory.
