Great authentic Italian restaurant. My husband and I went here for dinner after receiving a gift certificate. We went here on a week night around 5:30 and were the only two in the restaurant until a family came in as we were leaving. The decor is old Italy which my husband and I love. We split a caprese salad. I... More

I have eaten here many times in the last 2 or 3 years. This has become our "go to " place for a quiet dinner , especially when we want great Itialian. I have had about 10 different menu items and all have been among the best itialian for the area. This place reminds me of Italy. I have been to... More

My husband and I were looking to try out a new (to us) restaurant and came across this gem located in Hudson, MA. It's not "American Italian" cuisine, but the real thing. And worth every penny. We started with a nice glass of wine chosen from a good wine menu. The appetizer salad was plentiful, fresh and nicely dressed. My... More

**Disclaimer** I am writing this review based on the menu that was left in my mailbox. I'm assuming owners are reaching out to area residents to stir up some business. I am familiar with this restaurant as our favorite Chinese takeout is across the street. Sofia appears to be quiet most weekend nights as the take out Chinese place is... More

The food is fresh and always good. They serve the best lasagna I've ever had; the homemade pastas make you feel like you are in Italy. We are never disappointed when we dine at Sophia's!

It is the real thing. Some people don't know the real thing and won't appreciate it. You dine slowly and relax, some don't see the purpose in making a night of it. Anyway, the owner (Vincenzo) and his wife do a fine job of providing delicious food at appropriate prices. Some think it is expensive. Well, they should go to... More

Friends took us here. They gave the place a big build up. The inside really needs a make over. I wonder if they can get Gordan Ramsey to visit? Anti pasta starter was presented as a big pile on a small round plate...............why not spread out on a larger plate so you can see what was there? Nothing special deli... More

I've been here twice. You always want to give a place more than 1 chance. Both times, it was mediocre at best. Too bad, because people would really love an authentic, creative, delicious Italian option nearby. I agree, the interior has no abience. Each time I had been there, my party was only 1 of 2 or 3 parties there,... More

The food is authenic and very good but a little too expensive for what you get. The Atmosphere is very nice. Parking can be a problem on the weekend

This was my second visit to Sofia Ristorante. It was as wonderful this time as it was the time before.. I had the chicken prepared with white wine, served with roasted potatoes and grilled eggplant and zucchini. It was light and delicious. My dining companion had the lasagna. I had a taste and honestly it was the best lasagna I have... More
