Horseshoe Pub has been a staple neighborhood pub for many years. We have gone several times, sometimes for apps and drinks, other times for dinner. In my opinion the effort is there but sometimes the execution falls short. The menu is far ranging; to the point of being overwhelming. I think they would be better served paring down the menu... They have 80 beers on tap, but are not just a bar. The food is awesome and the atmosphere friendly. The have the best Reuben around, the Rattlesnake pasta is good, as is the pulled pork. Nachos are great for sharing. I have eaten here a lot and have never had a bad meal. Service can get bogged down at... More

I'm never sure if a place like this is flat-out awesome, or flat-out scary. It takes a lot of work to keep even one beer happy for anything more than a few days after cracking the keg, how does a place like this keep over 50 tap beers fresh and tasty. I do like their addition of hand-pulled craft kegs,... More

Stopped by for lunch twice in the last month while in the area because of the number of beers on tap. I had the lobster roll both times and it was served in a sub roll with plenty of meat. The first time the roll was hard, but the second time it was nice and soft. Delicious. The beer selection... More

Tonight 4 of us went to the Horseshoe Pub in Hudson MA for dinner. It's a very, very loud place, even away from the loud bar area...We don't really mind places that are fairly loud, it's to be expected at a pub, but the 4 of us were sitting in a large booth, and we couldn't even hear what we... Come for the beers. Lots to choose from. As for food, very basic. No bad, but not exceptional either. The usual fare of burgers and wings are served.

First the good things - large patio dining area and draft beer selection. We haven't been here for a while and the food was not as good as I remembered. While the buffalo chicken wing appetizer was excellent, the lobster rolls were just ok and the fried clams were poor. Our server did her best but seemed harried with too... More

We enjoyed an wonderful lunch out on the terrace. My lobster roll was chock full of lobster meat and very tasty! My husband's fried clams were equally as good. The portion sizes reflect the price; good value. The beer was cold and the sun was shining. What more could one ask for?

First, let me say that I go to the Horseshoe pub for their extensive beer menu, NOT for their food menu. They've done a really nice job renovating the bar area. I'm not sure why a previous reviewer would say it's "creepy" or that it has a "vulgar color scheme not child or family friendly." ITS A BAR. If families... More

I was extremely disappointed with the Horseshoe's Recent renovation Gone is the bright cozy Pub family friendly atmosphere It's replaced by a vulgar color scheme not child or family friendly , it's Famous Pub area is now very dark cool and creepy no room to stand and enjoy a pint . It's not conducive to enjoying a meal here, The... More
