Good hotdogs... Not as good as they used to be though.

They used to let the dogs sit in butter for a good long while... Sounds gross but tasted amazing. And the would steam the buns. I might be wrong but I don't think they are doing this now. The dogs are good but not the same level of good they used to be. Try the chilli fries.

Always enjoy seeing Jennifer and Kevin. Best dogs and beans in area. Staff friendly. Good ice cream around back.

Let's be real, a hot dog is not a delicacy or a health food item so discerning palates need not consider it for the merits of being a gourmet or satisfying meal. What Nick's Nest offers is a quaint bit of nostalgia where young girls are getting their work experience and welcome you with a smile and hold the door... More

We visited Nick's Nest today, my first trip, and were quickly transported back to a different, wonderful and far simpler time. Founded in 1921, Nick's has the feel of the 1950s. The dogs and onion rings were honest and delicious, as was the kraut and chicken gumbo. Although weather worn, we found the place to be spotless. Nick's Nest is... More

It is expensive the hot dogs are good I think that a lot of people go there with their family and their kids and is a very open field of generations that have come through there and the food is awesome

Not very good.......small boiled dog on a bun and a small cup of soup $6.10. I went out of my way to go here because of the raving reviews and I was dissapointed. Left hungry

I would rather have a wino vomit in my mouth than eat here. Well, unless that wino did not eat here first. Greasy fries, less than par quality hot dogs that are boiled and ice cream. Place says it is "good for kids" but every nutritionist would say otherwise. The only thing good is the locally made bottled soda which... More

I've eaten there many times and the bake beans are great. The service is never a bad experience ..The hotdogs are the best but I rather have my buns toasted.
