Good imaginative food, with nice drink selection. Phone disconnected, so they might have met their match...

I have been to George's several times. Their first location and their current. Their first location is where I fell in love with their food. Had their awesome Apple Cider Bacon BLT and just loved it! The last time I went was at their current location and I must say I wasn't all that thrilled. Not disappointed, but just "ehh".... More

Georges will be closing due to their loosing their beverage license sometime in the next month. They had trouble keeping the peace in the area.

Eat here for Easter and had the brunch buffet. The food was average. The service was nonexistence. Could have went elsewhere for better food/service and less money.

I have been here twice now with a few friends. Both times we have gone on a Thursday night around 7:00. I love the way it is set up...the booths have high backs so you are having a private conversation even with a party at the next table. I believe it may be an old renovated church, as the ceilings... Nice atmosphere. Consistent good quality food, creatively prepared. The entire staff from the owner down to the excellent barstaff made sure that every detail was perfect. They all made us feel very welcome. We had a great time.

George's Wednesday night specialness with 10.00 entrees can't be bear in the Haverhill area. I have eaten there many times and have always been pleased with the food and the service but thier Wednesday night special makes for an unbeatable combination

We went to this restaurant because we like the band that was to play at their upstairs function room. We were there when they opened at 5PM and they were ready for us, a pleasant surprise. We tried Kushiage, deep fried seafood, meat or vegtables, on skewers. We had beef and chicken, it was lightly battered and very tender. We had... More

Since they moved to the new location they seem to have gone downhill. We were there on a weekday night, and the service was laughable. The chef wandered out to ask how our meal was since there were so few diners. We said we were still waiting for it. And it was mediocre when it did come.
