Great Beer and Food

We travel in the UK a lot, and this place is close to the atmosphere of a classic British (or Irish) pub. The beer selections are great, with a large selection of good British and Irish beers. My son, a dedicated Guinness drinker, is always impressed at how well the Guinness is poured---it's an... read more

This pub is about as close to an authentic Irish experience as one could hope for in this area. It is dark, with old tables and a nice bar. We love to go here on St. Patrick's day for breakfast. It is a good way to begin celebrating. there is one in Nashua NH also, but this one seems more... More

Great food and authentic Irish Waitress who was attentive and engaging! This is not our first time there and definitely won't be our last!

Use to eat here and loved the fish and chips but since having to go gluten free I have avoided coming back and finally risked it. They were very omitted as to what I could get but I did manage to have the Irish nachos. Which were filing, good and well priced it was a appetizer that did as Amtrak.

this is a great Irish pub with really, really good fish and chips. If you are in the area and like or loop exit fish and chips you should check it out. The fish is delicious and served in newspaper with all the homemade ketchup and tarter sauce up you need. Both will spoil you for anywhere else.

As expected, the catchup was excellent. The sweet potato fries were crisp and light. My fish and chips were not incredible just average. The fries were undercooked and not crispy. The waitstaff was excellent spontaneous and amusing. The only reason I gave it four stars was because of the soggy fries.

So our Maine vacation has ended and we're driving south back to Virginia, when we stop for the night in Haverhill. Our hotel has a list of restaqurants within 5 minutes drive. After careful review, we all agree to try this Irish Pub. Then we find it is down the side of a building and on the lower level. Hm.... More

Fish and chips....how can you go wrong! Served in a newspaper, with homemade ketchup that is so amazing you would never want to buy the bottled stuff ever again.

Nice variety of menu choices including traditional Irish selections. Great atmosphere. Service not always perfect. Tasty and enjoyable. Try it for something a little different.
