The Hot Stove is right in the middle of Harwich Port Village and serves lunch and dinner. They accept cash or checks only because they donate strongly to local charities. The menu lets diners know how much and where donations go each year. For those who must pay by credit card, a no- fee ATM is located inside the restaurant.... More

I went here on a recommendation from a local as a place to get good scallops. The scallops were right on, baked in a light sauce. They were sweet and plentiful. Served with a basic cole slaw. I ate at the bar where the bartender was friendly and quick. The bar has all sorts of baseball memorabilia to see. My... More

We stopped in again for dinner. Same as last time, good service and great food. I had a sangria and nachos. Both were great. The others in my party had burgers and loved them also. We will be back!

Not knowing where to eat in Harwich Port, we decided to take a chance on Hot Stove Saloon. This place is wonderful. Had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated but it was worth the wait. Had the sirloin tip appetizer and fried filet of sole sandwich and my husband had the steak sandwich. Everything was good and the... More

We came here for lunch at 1pm and were seated right away. The skylight gives the pub a nice vibe. The fried cod sandwich and ceasar salad were fresh and delicious. The burger with gluten-free bun was quite tasty for the celiac in the family. Unfortunately, the grilled chicken and buffalo chicken quesadilla were dry, hence the 4 stars. But... More

Dinner first night in town, picked mostly because it looked not too fancy and we weren't dressed up after drive. Food was ok, it was just bar food, nothing special. Cod cakes were blah.

What I liked: The price (not cheap but Great value) The ambiance (fun baseball/sports memorabilia) What could have been better: The food (lobser roll on a croissant... really... it's kind of a 2 ingredient recipe... lobster, in a ROLL) What really sucked (hey guys I'M on vacation, not you, these guys could not have been more non-nonchalant about taking care... Hot Stove is a fun restaurant with the best fresh fried fish. The portions are very generous, we had 3 meals from one dinner. They have a large selection of beer on tapas well as a good selection of wine. The fish is served with delicious cole slaw & choice of regular French fries or curly fries. Hot Stove is... More

Stopped in for lunch. Very cozy, comfortable spot. Baseball themed decor. Cash only. I had a delicious, perfectly cooked, "comfort food" Grilled Cheese and Tomato Sandwich with a side of tasty Onion Rings. (Started with a fresh, garden salad) Others had the "very good" Chef Salad / and Mac & Cheese - "rich but a tad greasy" Very friendly wait... More

Basic tavern fair with a few seafood dishes to give it a Cape Cod flavor. A bit cramped inside, but if your a sports fan, you'll enjoy all of decor geared to Boston sports teams over the years. Due to it's small size they tend to have a wait at dinner time. You can sit out front on benches and... More
