great weekend breakfast spot, but can get extremely busy!

We love coming to Stables on our sunday mornings for breakfast every few weeks. However, when the students come back for fall, it can get incredibly busy and we usually avoid it during the busy times. Unless you get there pretty early especially on weekends, you will definitely wait in line. Its... read more

The price for breakfast or lunch can not be equaled and the quality of food is always fresh. The bread is baked daily and the many selections speak well of the establishment. Seating is limited and there can be lines. Service is friendly and timely. Portions are large.

Not the most elegant restaurant I've eaten in however...between the food, quality, and servers, it was very enjoyable. Highly recommended especially for breakfast.

Great service with great food. TYpical breakfast food. The omelette was just right with ham and swiss. Coffee server came by three times! Love that.

Mostly cash and Visa. Small aisles and not a ton of tables. Tons of unmarked crushed gravel parking which makes for interesting maneuvering. Line to sit at the counter is as long as the line to get a table most days. And it's one of the best old style breakfast diners I've been to. This is American breakfast done well.... More

Not up to my cleanliness standards. Cheap breakfest fare. But with other cheap and good breakfast joints in the area, leave this one to the College kids.

Revisiting Stables I once again had the most enjoyable breakfast ever. Its charming country decor, quick and friendly service and always fresh and perfectly cooked food again made me wish it were not 100 miles from my home. I chose a special which included two perfect sunny side up eggs, two pancakes cooked just right, good crisp bacon and delicious... More

This restaurant is open for Breakfast and Lunch only. There is a bar and offers American food. The customer service is great. The prices are reasonable. Being American the portions are bigger than in some other places. Parking here is free and there is plenty of it. Three of us enjoyed lunch, but I ordered all day breakfast instead.
