You get a lot of food for a reasonable price. The restaurant is a old time establishment but don't let the outside stop you from entering. The parking lot is always full for breakfast and once you try it, you will return. I like the French toast and the locally sourced bread products.

They did a good job doing eggs 'scrambled soft' for one party and regular for the second in our party of 4. The sausage gravy was excellent. Service was attentive and pleasant. This place is very popular with the locals and a great find for us travelers. The homemade breads were worth the up price. We found both the eggs... More

We had breakfast here 2 days over UMass Commencement weekend. While there was a line both days, the wait wasn't too long. Service is very good, food is served quickly and hot, and the portions are a good size.

My son and his friends eat breakfast here often, and so on my last visit, I joined them. Low key friendly atmosphere, great and creative menu selections, and good quality food at reasonable prices. I had the Lobster Eggs Benedict special, and it was fabulous! One of my breakfast mates had Banana Bread French Toast and that was also great.... More

My wife and I asked advice for a good breakfast restaurant from the front desk clerk at the Hampton Inn where we stayed. The clerk said the Stables was really good! He was right. My wife and I shared the Greek omelet and we both agreed it was delicious! We chose the homemade bread (molasses) and we ordered more! Our... More

I give this an excellent rating do to the fact that it is a great value for the valley. You don't leave feeling hungry or over bloated and your wallet won't be taken hostage either. If you are looking just to sit and relax with some good comfort food and a reasonable price, this is the place to go. One... More

Missed our hotel breakfast so decided to try The Stables, so glad we did! I had to laugh when I read someone's review about the homefries lacking in flavor. In my opinion good homefries make the breakfast and these homefries were the best I've had in a very long time! Very well seasoned, crispy on the outside and buttery goodness... More

Friendly waiter and delicious Eggs Benedict and Roast Beef Hash and Eggs. The place was banged out when we left so we were glad we got there when we did.

I've been to this place many times. Went for breakfast w/ my mom. My eggs were ok but the homefries were lacking in crispness & flavor. My mom ordered the special "Eggs w/broc., & cheese". When the order came she asked the waitress (who was not very friendly), where's the egg? She got no response. Her eggs had a huge... More
