Great customer service, parking free

This restaurant is open for Breakfast and Lunch only. There is a bar and offers American food. The customer service is great. The prices are reasonable. Being American the portions are bigger than in some other places. Parking here is free and there is plenty of it. Three of us enjoyed lunch, but I... read more

We looked around for a place to eat breakfast and passed this place by the first time... w were so glad that we decided to had back and give it a try. There were some items on the menu that were more eclectic than we expected, and the dishes we ordered were delicious and generous proof.

Consistantly yummy from breakfast to lunch! Eggs benedict is one of my faves! Try one of the daily specials you won't be disapointed. Burgers are juicy and big. The servers seem to work as a team which I love. The corned beef hash is a must have! My husband raves about the molases toast!

I enjoyed my breakfast at The Stables. The young man working the grill was quick and competent. When my food was ready he brought it out to me as I was sitting at the counter. He even refilled my coffee. The waitresses on the other hand were not very friendly. I was never greeted with a hello. I had to... More

The Stables Restaurant is conveniently located 10 minutes from the Amherst College campus and directly across the street from the Econo Lodge. Their breakfasts are above-average diner fare: delicious and more than hearty, with house made specials offered every day. Service was friendly, attentive and enthusiastic. We come here for breakfast almost every day while visiting Amherst.

They did a good job doing eggs 'scrambled soft' for one party and regular for the second in our party of 4. The sausage gravy was excellent. Service was attentive and pleasant. This place is very popular with the locals and a great find for us travelers. The homemade breads were worth the up price. We found both the eggs... More

We had breakfast here 2 days over UMass Commencement weekend. While there was a line both days, the wait wasn't too long. Service is very good, food is served quickly and hot, and the portions are a good size.

You get a lot of food for a reasonable price. The restaurant is a old time establishment but don't let the outside stop you from entering. The parking lot is always full for breakfast and once you try it, you will return. I like the French toast and the locally sourced bread products.

My son and his friends eat breakfast here often, and so on my last visit, I joined them. Low key friendly atmosphere, great and creative menu selections, and good quality food at reasonable prices. I had the Lobster Eggs Benedict special, and it was fabulous! One of my breakfast mates had Banana Bread French Toast and that was also great.... More
