Last evening my husband and I, along with another couple, went to Gibbet Hill Grill for dinner. I had made a reservation the week before and it is a good thing that I did because the place was packed. The four of us decided to share three appetizers. The appetizers were delicious and generous in size. We had stromboli stuffed... More

The restored barn is beautiful and lends a nice backdrop for the experience. Food was tasty. My husband ordered haddock in corn chowder and he loved every bit of it. I ordered the grilled cheeses and tomato soup appetizer, which would have been enough for a full meal. The steaks that were served around us looked very nice as well.... More

We were taken to this restaurant by family who leave near it. When we drove up we could see the cows out in the field and the parking lot was pretty full, but they had made reservations and we went inside and were immediately seated. We sat down and ordered our drinks while we looked at the menu. I ordered... More

The food at Gibbet has always been consistently good from appetizers to dessert with their cornbread being a favorite of my children. If you have a party of 6 to 8, try to reserve one of the two silo rooms. You get a fantastic view, excellent privacy and great service. Also, be prepared for a significant wait if you don't... More

To be short, Gibbet Hill is a fantastic restaurant. The ambience, literally set on a large hill, in a completely restored and beautiful farm/barn setting can't be beat. The restaurant is classy, romantic, casual, rustic and contemporary all at once - no small feat. The portions are fair, the prices are a bit on the more expensive side but I... More

Last night we had "date night" at Gibbet Hill Grill and every moment from when we walked in the door to the moment we left exceeded our expectations. We were there for the first farm to fork dinner this season which was served in the Barn. It was our first time in the Barn and we were blown away -... More

Gibbet Hill is always a hit in my family. The steaks are first class and we love the maple glazed carrots. Yum! Plus, they are big in the farm-to-table and grow many of their own herbs and vegetables and use local meats and cheeses. My husband threw a surprise party for me here years ago...just family but it was a... More

We chose to celebrate our anniversary at Gibbet Hill. Having a food allergy often limits our dining options, but the server and the chef stopped by to ask details about the allergy. They explained how they could accommodate it and what menu items ware safe and what were not. It was clear they had a protocol in place to help... More

The aged sirloin steak was perfect, as we're the sides. You can close your eyes and point to anything on this menu and still have a great meal.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Gibbet Hill this past week. The pastoral setting is beautiful, the restaurant is clean, but casual, and the service was excellent. I ordered the free range chicken, which was good, but not excellent--a bit bland--but the cheddar cheese grits were excellent. My husband made the wiser choice, and went with beef, which is... More
