Really great local place with fresh food and great coffee.

The owner of this place is a nice guy and the service is always vey attentive. Great place to meet a friend for coffee, have a book group meeting, or a business meeting. The omlettes are outstanding and for lunch their soups and chili hit the spot on a cold New England day,

The food here is similar to another Groton staple, Filhos, but a little pricier. They make more an effort to incorporate organic ingredients, so maybe that's why. It's a good place for a business lunch or for lunch takeout.

Call me biased, I'm a local. But nary a day passes without a cuppa joe from the 'Bird—there's none better on Route 119 from the Mass/NH line to I-495 (and that's a long drive). Yummy muffins and scones, great egg sandwiches when I need a little more. I lunch there infrequently, but when I do, they never disappoint (love that... More

Great place to get yummy sandwiches and wraps and excellent coffee. They have a real espresso machine so you can lattes, cappuccinos, short black coffee etc. Small seating area inside and also outdoors in the warmer months. Give it a try- you won't be disappointed!

A local coffee shop with a dedicated clientele. Sandwiches are fresh - don't miss the egg sandwiches for sure - and there is always something new. Service can be a little spotty so just be patient. Their chicken chili is outstanding!

Looking for a quaint coffee house, we happened upon this place, hidden in a plaza. The food was luke-warm, and flavorless, the coffee worse than that found in a gas station rest area. Not worth their prices. Seemed like a nice place to meet up with someone - if you don't mind crappy coffee/food.

We have been going here every Saturday for lunch for over one year. The artwork on the walls is tastefully presented and often for sale at a decent price. It changes depending on what local artist is currently exhibiting. I like that blackbird offers organic and local coffees, teas, and vegetables for their sandwiches. Since I am vegetarian, I often...
