Great place to get yummy sandwiches and wraps and excellent coffee. They have a real espresso machine so you can lattes, cappuccinos, short black coffee etc. Small seating area inside and also outdoors in the warmer months. Give it a try- you won't be disappointed!

A local coffee shop with a dedicated clientele. Sandwiches are fresh - don't miss the egg sandwiches for sure - and there is always something new. Service can be a little spotty so just be patient. Their chicken chili is outstanding!

Looking for a quaint coffee house, we happened upon this place, hidden in a plaza. The food was luke-warm, and flavorless, the coffee worse than that found in a gas station rest area. Not worth their prices. Seemed like a nice place to meet up with someone - if you don't mind crappy coffee/food.

We have been going here every Saturday for lunch for over one year. The artwork on the walls is tastefully presented and often for sale at a decent price. It changes depending on what local artist is currently exhibiting. I like that blackbird offers organic and local coffees, teas, and vegetables for their sandwiches. Since I am vegetarian, I often... I've driven by this place so many times and have never stopped. Yesterday I finally stopped and I will definitely go back. I ordered the beet salad on a bed of baby spinach and the lentil coconut soup. They were both delicious. Healthy ingredients, relaxing setting and very friendly service. I appreciate that they seem to take pride in their... More

Maybe this is my urban snobbishness showing, but I have low expectations of food in the suburbs. However, the Blackbird Cafe's Meditteranean and spinach-cheddar sandwiches on rosemary focaccia could not have been better in any big city (although they probably would have come with a little salad instead of chips). There is an easy unofficial exit from the bike trail... More
