Excellent food and wine choices

We stopped at Hope & Olive for lunch and loved the wonderful variety of fresh food choices. The lobster and pimento fritter was outstanding. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. The bar is relaxing and enjoyable.

Had a family graduation celebration dinner here. Wonderful inventive cuisine. Hearty rich flavors. Minor hiccups in the kitchen resulted in minor issues with food and presentation. Overall, a superior dining experience with many reasonably priced wines and creative cocktails. Could easily make it in Boston or Cambridge. Quite unusual in Greenfield!

This restaurant is a quaint and friendly. Choices are esoteric. Service was slow and food came cold. Nothing we chose was good. Three appetizers and two entrees. Beef bourguignon was a rock solid chunk of butt steak. Returned. I liked the setting and nice people, but would NEVER return.

Fresh ingredients, menu changes with season but never disappoints! We had a group including a vegetarian, a "picky" young adult, and others. The menu includes something for everyone. Hard to get a table when area boarding schools have family days. On busy weekends, we encountered a wonderful magician that entertained young and old alike. Great drinks and great desserts too.

We had stopped by here for dinner a few months ago and it was so busy with a waiting line and a hurried staff that we decided we would try another time. This time, although the restaurant was very busy, we were pleasantly greeted and seated within moments. Our server appeared to be harried but brought a bottle of lukewarm... More

I have been here twice: Once as a romantic meal and once with family. Both times the food does not disappoint. The menu is seasonal with limited choices but everything is delicious. I still dream of the fried chicken dish I ate here 2 years ago. The porch swinger drink was outstanding. Waitstaff is courteous and attentive. I highly recommend... More

The food was freshly prepared, great variety and was a perfect respite from the cold. We were there with a large group (14) and they served us efficiently and warmly where I think a lot of other restaurants in the area wouldn't have been able to pull it off (because they're too small / don't have the space).

We liked our meal. The owner is very nice. The food is fresh. Wish bread & scones were warm. The sausage gravy needed to be piping hot. It was warm. We'll go back & try dinner.

I have eaten at Hope and Olive countless times. Most recently lunch, a black forest ham and brie sandwich with pear, warm.... it was delicious. Their menu is diverse, eclectic and always a surprise of mouthwatering flavors.. Pair it with a good selection of wine and all is good..Highly recommend this dining experience.

Great range of options that always includes a bunch of veggies. Reasonable prices for what it is and deals on burgers and bar snacks.
