Dinner at Hope and Olive

I highly recommend the Lobster BLT sandwich and the fried broccoli appetizer. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious.

An imaginative menu built around local produce. The food and service were both good, but even mid-week the place was crowded and too loud to carry on conversations. Not much ambience.

Don't get me wrong - I liked my dinner here, but found it to be pretty pricey for what it is. I love the new age twist to old favorites - the menu is eclectic and the drinks are delicious. That said, I think a dinner of fish cakes coupled with wine shouldn't run to close to $40. I would... More

We had just a salad appetizer (outstanding yellow beets!) and green curry mussel dishes for dinner. Plenty of food for us, expertly prepared with outstanding fresh and local ingredients. Place was packed on a Wednesday evening, reservations are suggested. Attentive (but not overly so) staff and fast service rounded off an excellent meal!

Great brunch menu, lunch and dinner. Lunch specials- soup and salad or sandwich. Fantastic lamb burger and their bar menu always has great tasty options. Never get tired of this place!

We stopped at Hope & Olive for lunch and loved the wonderful variety of fresh food choices. The lobster and pimento fritter was outstanding. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. The bar is relaxing and enjoyable.

Had a family graduation celebration dinner here. Wonderful inventive cuisine. Hearty rich flavors. Minor hiccups in the kitchen resulted in minor issues with food and presentation. Overall, a superior dining experience with many reasonably priced wines and creative cocktails. Could easily make it in Boston or Cambridge. Quite unusual in Greenfield!

This restaurant is a quaint and friendly. Choices are esoteric. Service was slow and food came cold. Nothing we chose was good. Three appetizers and two entrees. Beef bourguignon was a rock solid chunk of butt steak. Returned. I liked the setting and nice people, but would NEVER return.

Fresh ingredients, menu changes with season but never disappoints! We had a group including a vegetarian, a "picky" young adult, and others. The menu includes something for everyone. Hard to get a table when area boarding schools have family days. On busy weekends, we encountered a wonderful magician that entertained young and old alike. Great drinks and great desserts too.
