I am never upset that I have eaten here but the food could be better and the place is always messy, my wife loves the tofu bowls. I will usually get the mojo pork burrito or catfish tacos. I will never give up on Mesa but they could make it a lot better

Finally got around to trying the enchiladas. Wow! The sauce was rich with chili's and with a little tang of tomato. Cheesy and delicious. Learned later from the staff that you can order the sauce on other dishes, gonna try it on a burrito bowl sometime. The large burritos here are another favorite of mine. Watch out for the grilled... Stopped in for lunch with the family; very friendly and welcoming, a relaxed atmosphere. The food was acceptable, though not outstanding in any way, but a pleasant place to hang out. Would go back if someone wanted to meet there, but would try something other than the tacos.

The rice tastes bland (not like Mexican or Spanish rice), quesadillas didn't have cheese and meat spread out evenly, some parts had nothing but bread (part soggy and part burnt), chips weren't fresh or tasty. Not a very impressive meal for the price. Very disappointed. One website had wrong prices posted with a disclaimer saying prices may be outdated. On... More

Their menu is a little pricey compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area, but it's worth it! The burritos are HUGE and you'll be happy with it. Everything on the menu is delicious. Try it!

As others have mentioned, it's counter service, and that keeps the prices down and the portions more than filling. Apart from basic Tex-Mex, the very friendly owner is always whipping up something special with whatever local ingredients that come along. The atmosphere is extremely casual and homey, and, judging from all the "hellos," chance are that at least one of... More

I first heard about this restaurant on a radio ad that the owner was doing on behalf of ANOTHER local restaurant. With good will like that, how could I resist? Finally stopped by the other night. I was bringing it home with me and had another errand to run between there and home, so I ordered something I could easily... More
