End of a busy work week and did not want to cook. Eaten at so many places in the area and was interested in something a little different. Decided on the Manna House because I love Korean food and hadn't had it for a long time. Checked out their menu on line and placed an order over the phone for... More

When you eat at Manna House 95% of the food is made by the owner, fresh. She does not have commercial distributors that come daily/weekly, she travels to get fresh ingredients and the regular distances would shock most people. The kimchi is homemade with lots of love. Each meal is prepared at the time it is ordered, no premade food... More

we were happy to find Korean restaurant while we have not eaten Korean foods for a while. We ordered 1) DoenJang JjiKye(soybean paste stew): this was ok, very plain but still edible. 2) Kalbi(short rib): not fresh, taste like marinaded for a long time. 3)HaeMool PaJeon(Seafood pancake): not much seafoods, not much green onion, basically all dough... greasy...4) JjamBbong(Hot and... My wife and I dropped in on the Manna House for lunch the day before Christmas and had a great experience. Our first experience with Korean food and won't be our last. The staff was friendly and efficient and the food was terrific. All in all, another quality restaurant in Western Mass.

We had dinner at Manna House last night. All the dishes we had were very individual and all very well done. (Added plus, you can bring your own wine or beer!)

Stopped in for a lunch date last week, and my boyfriend and I were both very happy with the experience. He had the Yaki Mandu (pan fried pork dumplings) and I had the Kal Guk Su (thick noodle soup with scallions and garlic)- both delicious. The noodles were definitely hand-made and fresh and SO much better than your garden-variety overcooked... More

This place has really good authentic Korean food. I went to several Korean places in Northampton and Amherst but this one has entirely different menu and everything we ordered was very delicious. Will go back soon.

For a very local place (now on Bank Row, not Main Street), the food is varied, fresh, and excellent. It's best to go with a group so that you can sample the diverse menu. As a caveat, try to go at an off hour, as the friendly waitstaff is limited, and with the food made to order, you can expect... More

Delightfully different Korean cuisine. The dishes are spicy but fabulous. Ask for a fork if you must. The only down side is that it's run by a husband/wife team with little or no other help. That results in painfully slow service but the food is worth the wait. No liquor license yet. Prices are excellent with entrees in the low... More

Never had Korean food before, was a good first try. It was pretty affordable for what you get. The food was tasty and the waiter was nice. Food came out quick. I would definitely go again.
