Good ice cream but expensive

The ice cream here is always consistent and good with a nice variety of flavors to choose from; don't think I'd say it is the best ice cream I've ever had but it is high quality and tasty. My daughter loves their milkshakes. They usually have about 6 flavors of gelato as well; which is my... read more

This small creamery offers an excellent variety of favors. traditionalists will find what they want while those with a more adventuresome palette will find something too. I had the lemon poppyseed and loved it. It was light and airy with a nice touch of perkiness from the poppy seeds. The salted caramel was very creamy and very rich. The staff... More

I live near several excellent ice cream places that make their own and are hard to top, so maybe my standards are set a bit higher. The servings here are generous, but I didn't think the ice cream itself was outstanding. The rest of my group got gelato and really enjoyed it, so maybe that's the way to go.

One word, delicious. A little pricey but worth it. 3.5 mile hike after helped a little with calorie guilt.

While I think the ice cream was pretty good my gf said it was awesome, we ordered a hot fudge sunday to split. I have no argument on the flavor but I say they were stingy with the amount of hot fudge, she says the flavor was " grandiose" and brought her back to Willie Wonka. Plus it was a... More

excellent ice cream, cool t-shirts . a bit pricy but a+ indulgence. We dropped in after evening ramble in Great Barrington and looking for desert. A chill in the air soothed with solid cup of coffee and killer home made ice cream. Full family set up although a large group will get expensive

This ice cream is amazing! It is fresh, creamy, and comes in great flavor combinations! Personal favorites were albino cookie monster, coconut lemongrass and maple bacon. We went in twice in one weekend it was so wonderful!

Have lived in Berkshires for 15 years and must admit that I find the cost of an ice cream cone or soft serve here to be rather high for what you get. The ice cream is good and I respect them for this, but the portions are not worth the price. If you do not care about this because your... More

Small batch ice cream made in many interesting flavors is Soco's main selling point. Their ice cream flavors have included, Elvis, Mission Fig, Mexicali Chocolate, Ginger, Cookie Monster (which is blue), Albino Cookie Monster (which isn't blue), Salted Caramel in addition to more standard flavors. They also make a really good strawberry milk shake. While their ice cream is available... More
