We at Route 7 Grill are proud to be providing fresh, local food to our Berkshire neighbors and friends. All of our meats are naturally raised from local farms or small family farms. We hope that our close relationship with these farmers have some positive effect in preserving local farming traditions. Everything we serve, including stocks, soups, dressings & desserts are made here from scratch. Our philosophy is inspired by Berkshire Grown, as well as the farm-to-table movement. The restaurant, nestled in the Housatonic river valley of the Southern Berkshires offers a full service dining room and full bar. We're located on historic Route 7 south of Great Barrington in the shadow of June Mountain We also offer a second dining room concept - including Raw Bar, Charcuterie & Tasting menus. A nice surprise!

I really enjoyed this place! Always on the lookout to try new places and this one is a winner! Will be back for sure! The salmon was out of this world and for a steak house - huge compliment!

This place was a poor excuse for a bbq joint. We went with a family of 5 and $200 in gift cards, spent half and threw the rest away. Terrible food, good riddance.

We stopped by here in June 2015 and found it empty with a for-sale sign out in front. The real estate agent kept the area around the sign mowed but the rest of the property was over-grown with weeds. Anyone want to buy a restaurant?

The ownership has changed as well as the name and the quality of the food. It is now called "PS Bistro" and I recommend that you step on the accelerator as you pass it by. The food is terrible. My wife order the braised pork and it was actually boiled. Close, but no cigar. I opted for spaghetti and meatballs... More

the new ownership and menu for this restaurant seemed like it was worth a try. It was New Year's eve and we had been turned away by 2 other places (unable to reserve because we were only 2). When we walked in at about 6:45 we were told that all the tables were taken but we could sit at the... More

We were very excited to try the new incarnation of Route 7 Grill but didn't get the chance. When we arrived at ps bistro on a Saturday night, only 2 other tables were taken. Shortly after our family was seated, the waitress told us we were being too loud seemingly based on a complaint from the preservation society section of... More

The Route 7 Grill ran its string out and has been replaced by the P.S. Italian Bistro which has now been open for two weeks. Although they are working out some start-up kinks they have a menu with a broad array of selections, the food was good, the wait staff was pleasant and they had a wine list with some... More

We discovered this place back in the spring. Had been driving by it for months because we thought it was a roadhouse with not much to offer. Were we wrong. We love the food. The menu is small and it changes. Not necessarily the best choice (or budget) for kids. It's all local. Shrimp PoBoy is a staple for my... More

Never again. Rte 7 Grille used to offer decent BBQ meals in a gymnasium-atmosphere dining room. But apparently they have changed their approach w/o ever changing their name. I live in the area and was ignorant of the switch (MAYBE that's on me). But the result is for the worse. There's still the farm-to-table overlay/pontification...but the menu is very narrow,... More

We booked through a major restaurant site, with which we've had excellent success. So, we were surprised that the only option was a table in the bar with bad music and a sports TV screen. We had expected a table in the dining room, but that was not an option. Guess a Saturday night in August is not a good... More
