Well, this seemed like an interesting place to have lunch on a beautiful sunny and warm summer day. In addition, the menu on the board looked inviting. Unfortunately, the food served us did not live up to the listings on the board. To begin, my friend had a bowl of Mac and Cheese as an appetizer. When asked how it... More

Although the food is simple, plentiful and generally good, the tight space and packed in sardine feeling, makes this a poor dining experience. The table placement, especially around the entrance, results in waiting patrons hovering and standing beside your table, providing an unacceptable invasion of your dining space. No one wants to eat their food staring into someone's belly or... More

Day two of our quest to eat breakfast out during our week in the Berkshires. We sound this little place in Great Barrington tucked away in a corner. They had a good variety of items and breakfast was served all day. The food was good and served hot and quick. Might come back and try lunch--on another visit though.

I have to agree with a lot of the other reviewers: the food was awesome!!!! I would've given this place five stars but their coffee was so bland and the staff completely ignored us for such a long time, I actually thought about leaving and finding somewhere else to go. Our waiter was absent minded and ignored us for awhile... More

Server was welcoming & polite and the menu looked good - however coffee was awful - omelets were dry & toast soggy but the home fries were very good. Cute place but food was nothing special.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but it is a treasure. We've eaten there many times and the food is consistently good. Great sandwiches and omelets.

Service was horrible, coffee never refilled however food was very good. They should upgrade the snooty city like staff and they would be 5 stars!!!!

Coffee never refilled for husband. Server Never offered me water or anything. Tofu veg scramble not done with eggs. Why call it scramble? For $10, offer with eggs as an option. Without for vegans. Chairs very uncomfortable. Best bet would be eggs and toast I think.

We have been going to Martin's for over 15 years. A great breakfast spot. The eggs benedict, pancakes, eggs and omelots are always delicious. The fresh fruit and granola are top notch. Throw is excellent coffee and always good service and you have a place where you know you will get a good meal. Seating is a bit tight, but... More

If you are a breakfast enthusiast, going for the basics, served with a little flair, then Martin's is the place to check out when you are in the Berkshires. The space is relatively small and unassuming but clean. The food is outstanding, which is what coming to Martin's is all about. They serve lunch but I can't comment on that... More
