GREAT JOYNT, GREAT FOOD

Interesting and ecletic. Penny arcade plus well-prepared southern style menu. Example: we had waffles with chicken in a delicious sauce; biscuit with pork (#7) with special sauce. Flavorful and homemade. Family run business. Friendly staff/owners. Revolving art show in the bathrooms. Can't... read more

I have been to Gypsy Joynt a few times. I always felt rather put off by the staff, who give a very stand-offish vibe. I also didn't particularly like their menu selections as a lot of the ingredient combinations are just weird. However, I did like their salad when I ordered it. Unfortunately, last time I was there I ordered... More

I just had one of the best sandwiches! I just wish it had been bigger, but as far as taste, it was was fantastic. The house-made foccacia was wonderful and not too thick so the sandwich fillings were really the star of the show: roasted beets, dates, artichokes, avocado, baby spinach, herbed seeds, goat cheese, and an orange/honey yogurt. Wow!... More

Unique place to go for great eats, reading the walls & checking out the decor, people watching, and music. Family owned; home cooked food, local fresh ingredients. Substantial portions are a great value! Order at the counter and bus your own dishes.

This is a very cool place with Live Music, and original decor. Family owned business with good food at reasonable prices. Its a very 60's kind of place. Pizza was very good also. Food is ordered at the counter and they bring it to you. You then clean your own table. As a Musician I felt right at home there.... More

Family (fabulous) owned on Main Street. You have to experience it. Food is local and clean. Excellent bar and live music in the evenings. It doesn't get any better than this in the area. You always feel welcome here! Do Not miss this experience. Family friendly for those after skiing lunches!!

Very good for the value and the atmosphere...if that's what you are looking for. We ran in for a quick lunch-soups, salads and quesadillas were all delicious. A bit hectic and chaotic-food all comes out at different times...you order at counter, get your own table, water etc. Its really a no frills but good food, good value and good music.

Fun place! Didn't eat, listened to the band "Hard Monet" play for a long while. They were great. The atmosphere is a trip back in time, funky and fascinating. The pizza looked great, will try it next time.

Very healthy and creative foods, drinks and deserts. A terrific family owns and operates this one of a kind restaurant. They have live music many evenings. It's a definite throw back to the 60's in that the atmosphere is right out of that time.
