Great live music, attentive bar tender/owner, creative menu, jumpin crowd. No blue heads here nor boopers. The vibes on the sidewalk will draw you in, check the website for the artists scheduled. The veggie quesadilla is super and check out the locals brews on tap.

As a beatnik-hippie child, I like to harken back to when nothing was ridiculously stressful and the moon was in the 7th house. This is the place. The food is creative and lovingly prepared and served. You can make adjustments, no problem. Titles of food items and drinks are clever, and they taste delicious. You bus yourselves. You can get... For a place that tries to appear all hippy-ish and cool, I found the staff in this place were surprisingly intolerant and unhelpful. My husband and I came in at a pretty quiet time, but we had a hard time getting served, and when we did get served, we felt extremely uncomfortable. I wold hate to think that it was... More

Having dodged the way-too-cool and crowded Halloween party, we wandered back for Sunday brunch and sat right next to the stage where all of the counter-culture paraphernalia could be viewed. Once you figure out the drill--read the menu, order at the bar, take a seat, and bus your own table--you can relax and enjoy the real food--whole, healthful, and tasty.

Quirky restaurant with a real mix of collectibles on the walls and ceilings. Drinks are served in mason jars. Menu offered burgers, pizzas, and similar fare all claim to be cooked fresh when you order my pulled pork was offered with vega tables and I ordered a side of sweet potato fries. Staff didn't look as if they enjoyed their... More

My wife and I went to Gypsy Joynt based upon the reviews on Trip Advisor, and would definitely recommend this fun spot. We arrived around 7pm and there wasn't a chair available, so we ordered drinks and stood until two seats opened up. We orders salsa and chips first (not great) and they let us leave our tab open until... More

We were three ladies on a weekend getaway. We were looking for a casual, fun place to eat. We found it at Gypsy Joynt. You order at the bar and then you sit wherever you want and the waitress walks around calling your name until she finds you. The restaurant got very crowded so we invited three other people to... Had dinner at the Gypsy Joynt while staying in Great Barrington and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered a salad and a pizza, and both were fabulous. They had live music, and we sang along and had a great time. Very relaxed atmosphere, kid friendly, and they have a heck of an espresso bar.

Very, very unique place. You could stay here for several hours checking out the stuff on the walls. I had the Al Capone sandwich. When we were here they had a band, free pizza and tea. Great Food. Great place!
