Great food with great service

Breakfast was fantastic at this place served with a healthy dose of New England charm. Big portions, family friendly (we were traveling with a toddler) and great characters - Patty is so warm and friendly. This place is an old fashioned community restaurant. Don't miss it!

Companion and I stopped here for a Saturday morning breakfast. I ordered a coffee, homemade muffins and hash. Muffin was a very good grilled berry berry muffin, my hash tasted of crab but it was nicely grilled. My dinning companion had the Captn Phil's eggs Benedict, he replied that it was nothing to write home about, it was two eggs... More

We went into Two Sisters for the first time in July 2012! We were greeted by the owner, Patty and her friendly smile! We immediately hit it off, and she is such a personable funny amazing lady! Her food is absolutely delicious! All home made and made with love! Her staff is very friendly and great people as well! I... More

Breakfast on a rainy, windy November day. Coffee was served at once, hot and steamy and refills simply stopped after a certain amount of time. Had a wonderful dish, Fisherman Benedict, eggs Benedict with crab cakes. Wonderful! Then added a half order of French toast made with Portuguese bread. Typical diner/coffee shop atmosphere. Enjoyed it very much, would go back.

Stood outside for half hour for a table the whole time noticing how the locals were able to get tables right away. when we finally made it in to a table the service was rude, unfriendly and terrible. the two sisters do not care about customer service or satisfaction. It should be posted outside that they do not accept credit cards... Went to this coffee shop for breakfast twice while in Gloucester. Service not friendly and catered to locals. Food average. Not the greatest in my opinion.

I had a hard time deciding which bread I wanted, they all sounded so good. Portions were very large. I visit Gloucester two or three times a year and had not been here before. I've become very fond of the Portugese sausage linguica, and their's was excellent. Really good coffee, too. I'll definitely go back the next time I am... More

My husband and I tried a new breakfast place in Gloucester. Thought people waiting out front was a good sign, but learned that no matter when you put your name on the waiting list, they take the locals over you. It happened three times while we were waiting. Still hung in there, because we were really hungry. The waitress sat... More
