I always make sure to go to Passports when I'm in the Cape Ann area. I've tried lots of different meals, appetizers, and desserts and attended a few wine dinners. I love all that I've tried and have never had a bad experience there. There's always local art on the walls and a great, sophisticated environment to spend a quality... more

Passports is a winner. Good menu selection and the quality and service is consistently way above average. The building is old and somewhat quirky but that just adds to the ambiance. Being natives, my spouse and I dine there about 3-4 times a year. more

We were visiting Gloucester on the Columbus Day weekend and Passports was one of the few places open...and they were really busy with the place packed to the rafters. Even so, the waitress had us at a table within 5 minutes. The freshly baked bread is a house speciality and the menu is nothing short of extensive. Plenty of fish... more

The food is fantastic. My favorite is the seafood casserole or the Veal Marsala. The appetizer mussels are also excellent. The menu is a little on the small side, but there are 8-10 specials every night that constantly change. The best part of the meal however is the Popover's that come fresh out f the oven before your meal. The... more

My wife and I had dinner here during a recent visit to Gloucester. It's a small place right on Main St. It's casual and cafe-like. Not a lot of atmosphere for a special dinner, but otherwise everything is first rate. My wife had a steak special and I had swordfish. We also shared a pear salad and a bottle of... more

I was working in this area last spring and happened to stop in for a late lunch before my flight home to Baltimore. Loved the yorkshire pudding, the fish was amazing and the staff was friendly, efficient and attentive. I'm heading back that way this coming weekend and cannot wait to have my dinner at this lovely restaurant. It is... more

Charming restaurant in downtown Gloucester Ma. The atmosphere on a cool autumn evening was cosy, in this small storefront restaurant right on main street. The food was outstanding and the prices reasonable. We both tried the specials, seafood prepared in imaginative ways, served with fresh vegetables. more
