My aunt, daughter and I had lunch here and it was fantastic with very reasonable prices. Once seated, we were each given a warm popover (!) while we looked at the menu. I ordered the Lobster Roll with a salad, both were fabulous. The side salad was anything but mundane - with mixed greens and very fresh vegetables it was... More

We went to Passports without reservations (I recommend you make them) and the hostess took our name and said "Why don't you take about a 10 minute stroll and come back. We can seat you then." There is no standing or sitting room unless you are at a table. We took her suggestion and window shopped a bit. Upon our... More

We dined at Passports last Friday night , June 27th. Thank you Tripadvisor as we would not have sought out this establishment otherwise. Having summered in Gloucester for the past 20 years, for some reason this establishment has never caught our eye. Our server was FANTASTIC and with reservations were seated in the left storefront window which was a special... More

If I could give 3.5 stars, I would as that is truly the most accurate rating. We started coming to Passports just after it opened over 15 years ago, when it was just one store-front wide with about 10 tables. Back then the varied, international menu was inspired and exciting; now the options feel a bit obvious and the reality... More

Warm welcome, comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere. I loved my Thai duck with lime-mango sauce. Crisp skinned, tender and perfect seasoned. Table mates were enthusiastic about their grilled swordfish with capers and pulled pork quesadilla. Dishes were beautifully plated. Fabulous desserts. If you like rich, order the Congo bar sundae. I love the ricotta-lemon torte - intense flavor and not heavy.... More

This was our first night in Gloucester MA and selected Passports after reviewing several local restaurants. We were not disappointed!!! My wife had pork chop which she said was the best she had ever had. I had the steak Diane which was also excellent. We then had desserts which were brilliant and very reasonably priced in our opinion. The service... More

The food and service are great here. Nice wine list and great recommendations. Great for lunch or dinner. I first had Fishermen's Brew here and my husband and I rejoiced when we could get it in Vermont, finally.

I haven't been to this restaurant in years but my mother wanted to try it about a month ago. She ordered fried haddock which she orders everywhere she goes. I ordered the baked haddock. When the food was delivered, I could tell right away that my mother's fried haddock was way over-cooked and I don't know how anyone can ruin... More
