How can you not love a place that gives you fresh popovers with your meal! If you're not in the mood for dining in, get some of their amazing gumbo to go!!

Doesn't look much from the outside, but don't let this put you off. Excellent food and selection of drinks, plus friendly staff. Only disappointment was that main courses were too big and I had no room for dessert

Went there with friends (party of 6) in mid august. The place was busy but not over-crowded. One surprise, they don't serve mixed drinks, but a good selection of beer and wines. I had the Paella based on friends recommendations - it was good. Even so, I kinda wished I had ordered the haddock. Had a nice desert of fruit... More

This is just the latest on many meals we've had here going back at least five years. Wait staff always seems to be friendly, lively and efficient. The food is fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection (recommend the Sister's Haddock). You should make reservations on weekends.

While walking on Main St, we stumbled upon this great little restaurant. At first we weren't sure but then we looked at the specials outside and decided to try it. What a great surprise. We were delighted by the warm welcome and the great menu. The food was delicious, amazing taste combination and well presented. Plate size was more than... More

This is a busy place on Main Street Gloucester. Portions are pretty big, especially the seafood stew. The staff was always rushing around as the restaurant was packed. Tables (at least in part of the restaurant) were quite close to each other and that made dinning not very enjoyable. We arrived at around 6:30pm without any reservation luckily the wait... More

Had a great lunch here last year and the popovers appeared in my dreams ever since. Dinner last night satisfied as well! Truly excellent oyster stew and oyster po-boy! I get to NOLA about every other year and eat my weight in all kinds of oysters and last night's rated well! By the way, who greats you at your table... More

Passports is one of my favorite restaurants. You are greeted by a friendly staff who have been there for years, you are seated at a small cozy table and are served with a hot homemade popover, who does that? They specialize in european cuisine with my favorite sister's haddock, almond crusted haddock with scalloped potatoes, yummy.

We were lured to this restaurant by a menu item listed on your site that they no longer carry (please update), but disappointment quickly gave way to delight when the hot popovers arrived, followed by a fantastic swordfish scampi and great lobster roll, ending with a scrumptious chocolate torte. Very reasonable prices, great service, no nonsense ambiance - a great... More

Passports was the highlight of our weekend. 4 of us went for lunch and were greeted by very friendly staff. They immediately served us fresh popovers which were light, flaky, and delish (and a surprise) I had a crab cake sandwich which was HUGE and delicious. the seasonings were unique and well done. I had a side of pasta salad.... More
