Friendly and efficient, serving generous portions of good food.

Table waiting when we arrived for reservation, but saw plenty of walk-ins and others who seemed like regulars. The host got us settled fast, including three kids, not an easy task. Pop-overs and water were at the table quickly. Drinks from a good bar menu followed. Specials were all tempting with... read more

This restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel. We did not know that they only serve wine and beer. I am a vodka drinker. I asked the manager if I got some Vodka at a local store could I bring it in. She said no way!! There are no tablecloths at their restaurant with high prices and small portions. The... More

Starting with wonderful popovers, continuing with a great selection of entrees and salads, a willingness to put together a custom combination, everything done to perfection, and with a smile, it doesn't get any better than this. Portions are generous, enabling you to get another meal out of what are already reasonable prices. I'm sorry I don't get up here more... More

I have never been disappointed. Pricing is fare. Not a restaurant for kids. I love the sister haddock and if I don't want fish the beef dishes are good as well. Oh yes, pop overs served. mmmmmm

We come to Gloucester every year for vacation and every year we go to Passports. A favorite of vacationers and locals too! Every dinner starts with an amazing popover. Prices are reasonable, food is creative but not fussy. Tonight we went and the whole restaurant was full, reservations only, and it was only a Tuesday. Tuesday's they have community dinners,... It was our first time at Passports in about 4 years. Terrific food, very good lunch entrees and value. The oyster stew was scrumptious as well as the fish tacos. We felt at ease, not rushed and service was excellent. We will be returning and not in 4 years! Overall, great experience.

We went to Passports for supper based on the recommendation of a lady working at the store Life Is Good, across the street from the restaurant. Great store by the way! We walked across the street to Passports and we were able to get in without a reservation (2 adults 2 kids). Although I would definitely make a reservation next... More

My husband and I frequent this restaurant. The staff is so friendly, the chef is excellent. Where else can you go to get popovers! The restaurant is small, I recommend reservations on the weekend.

First time back at Passports in about six years. Great food again, excellent value for the price that you are paying. Portions are good, ingredients are fresh, plates are creative and well presented. However, the lead waitress/hostess was exceptionally snide and condescending to me and my party. We did not have a reservation and were chastised for this, despite that... More

Reservations for preferred seating. The food was excellent as well as the presentation. Parking limited as you would expect for this part of town. Service fair not overly friendly, at least our server. None the less an enjoyable experience. I would recommend to friends or family. And I must comment on the popovers. They were excellent.
