Not much to look at and you would probably just drive on by if you didn't know better but this is an outstanding place for fresh seafood. In fact, it is so good that in our week long trip from Boston up to Bar Harbor and back we made a point to stop here a second time. Peter's platter is... More

you cannot beat the freshness of these meals - they are unbelievable - everyone knows about the Causeway - it's a no brainer. You have to go there. Not the best looking or modern place in the world, but great food - and TONS of it. Great prices.

Don't be fooled by its basic atmosphere and tables. This is one of the best local seafood meals you will ever have. That it was packed at 4 pm on a Monday tells you how good it is. It is BYOB, but they welcome that. Setup charge is $1/glass. The clam chowder was the best I have ever had. Their... More

S is a tiny place with no atmosphere, but goodfood. We started with the clam chowder which was excellent. a large serving was thick and creamy with plenty of clams. K tried the fish and chips which had a nice light batter, nicely seasoned. The seafood floritine was a bit runny but full of seafood. Portions where large. Although we... More

Huge amount of food on every plate ....well worth the price. I had the chicken masalas. They chicken was cut as a filet and was to thin. I will go again and try something else.

Sort of a hole in the wall. Locals eat there, good food and lot of it. Reasonable price. Must wait sometimes.

Food always excellent. As residents, in the crowded summer months, avoid this little gem or pick it up for home. The quality is very good, the quantities are huge. We always share a meal. The service is good but fast. Make sure you check the specials on the board. You won't be disappointed with the Coconut Rum haddock, any fried... More

Went to have a bowl of their famous fish chowder. It was full of fish and tons of potatoes but, had absolutely no flavor. My girl had a cup of clam chowder. Not very good either. I have had chowder up and down the New England coast and it was nothing I would ever order there again. But, here come... More

This is great place for local seafood. It can get busy during peak times (lunch/dinner). So plan accordingly. Staff quick and responsive. Prices continue to rise, though. Best prices are at lunch..
