Kale soup and a pinaapple torte! Perfect lunch! Blue tiles and ethnic decor give great aosphere! I find. Great lunch menu.

Vibrant menu with regional Portuguese appetizers and main dishes. Had the fava beans for an appetizer, and a main dish of seafood pie loaded with scallops, shrimp and fresh haddock. Dining partner had a scallop pie. Each was served with beautifully crisp asparagus and potatoes.Oour wine was a kind of vino verde, crisp and slightly bubbly with an tart finish.... More

The atmosphere in the place is great. You really feel like you're in the Azores. The Azorean steak is delicious! The baked stuffed shrimp is great too! A nice outdoor patio in the summer is available. It can get busy so call for a reservation first!!

We loved the building, inside and out. The menu was very extensive and interesting. We each enjoyed our meals very much.

This restaurant is a gem. Well prepared Portuguese cuisine with a charming atmosphere. Located in Gloucester one would expect that the fish would be of a high quality. It does not disappoint. My haddock dish was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The portions are American sized. I had a full lunch the next day with my leftovers. The waitstaff is... More

This is a special place. The food is excellent and well presented. There are several vegetarian choices. The service was very good. It is a little noisy on a Saturday night, but not unpleasant. The restaurant is easy to find and has good parking.

Go to this acclaimed local resto for quantity, not quality! While the decor was interesting, with blue painted tiles and washed walls with a pleasant, peasant and bustling ambience, the food was one great, big disappointment for a light dinner. We shared a tapas sampling of six dishes, as well as a couple of appetizers and drinks. Our selection of... More

Though this restaurant is not very large and the parking tight. The atmosphere and food make up for it. There are not many places that offer a taste full menu. If you like Portuguese and Spanish food this place is for you.

Visited April 5th - food, service and atmosphere OUTSTANDING! My husband had the paella and there was so much food (this never happens to him) that he took home a doggie bag with enough for lunch the next day!
