Had a wonderful meal at the Azorean - appetizers tried were the cheese board and Linquica with Pineapple. Entrees Shrimp Mozambique - beautiful, large shrimp in delicious sauce with rice & Azorean Steak Tips - cooked to perfect and so tasty! Great service and, if you purchase a bottle of wine and don't finish you can bring with you.

I've been at least 6 time since 2012 at the lovely place. I like very much the Portuguese/Azorean themes, decoration and the people that work there are so cool. I love it. Every time we go there we like it. Good food and the price is right.

Went there with friends. The bar was very busy, but the staff was very attentive, and service was excellent. We had a table reservation, and it was ready for our group at the appointed time. There were more than enough hostess and wait staff people, and service was efficient and timely. We had drinks and a shared appetizer, and we... More

Six tapas. Big enough portions that we had leftovers. Many many to choose from. We had grilled calamari, smoky fava beans, octopus with carmelized onions, braised beef, mussels, baby artichokes followed by flan and all washed down with red sangria. Excellent all around. Great place.

My husband wanted to try this restaurant, but it was an hours drive from home and I was a little skeptical. No need to be, this was a very good choice. We had a lovely waitress, who served us fresh bread with an olive oil and olives plate. We each had a cocktail and my husband ordered the mussels for... More

I was in Gloucester mass home of some of the best fish resturants around why I let my wife talk me into Portuguese food I'll never know. We started out with Portuguese soup which was suppose to have a Portuguese sausage in it ,I've had it before that wasn't Portuguese sausage in it. I ordered scallops in a ( special)... More

Ate at the Azorean while staying in Gloucester. The food was good and the service was excellent. Nice change from the standard seafood restaurants.

The Azorean Steak tips are incredible. Also, the red sangria is one of my favorites. We also ordered the chocolate mousse for dessert.

After a very disappointing first night's dinner in Gloucester the night before, we found the Azorean Restaurant tonight through Trip Advisor and were very happy with our experience. The Atmosphere inside was great and very inviting. We had our daughter with us, and although she didn't find anything to her liking on the kids menu, the staff was more than... More

Took daughter and son in law for dinner, they were visiting from out of town. Service was slow, not that busy. They ordered the 6 tapas to share as their entree, I ordered the baked scallops. Their dinner was out a good 10-15 minutes before mine, not sure what happened
