This is just a great restaurant. If you love Tapas this is the place for you and I recommend the Tapas Tower. Choose 6 different Tapas all of which are excellent, and they'll serve them on their version of the tower. The Cataplanas are absolutely awesome and served in a skillet. The drinks are also... read more

We loved stopping by to try the Azorean. We had the wonderful kale soup with sausage in it and the calamari in their casual bar area at a table. The calamari was great if you skip the hot peppers, on the side, which were a little much for me. We also tried so of the dinner choices but plan to... More

Cold February night, the allure of a good seafood stew and friends was enough to get us back to the Azorean for the first time in a few years. Enjoyed the haddock and sample of mushroom steak. There was a mix up in the order about the potatoes, but when served their home made fries were quite good. The Fisherman's... More

The food here is phenomenal. Love the bread and oil and olives before your meal. The seafood items are great. Authentic food, great preparation. My only complaint would be the service. Service can be a little slow there. My last time there I ordered take out. The order was completely wrong. Management did correct it, but by then the thrill... More

While on vacation in Cape Ann, we received a recommendation for Azorean from a local and it did not disappoint! Not in the traditional location for most restaurants in Gloucester and Rockport. Additionally, the Mediterranean style may not resonate for some that are looking for traditional seafood. However, we were spending a week on Cape Ann and we were looking... More

Azorean is a great place to either sit in dining room or pub! I have not had a bad meal ever! (been approximately 12 times) Seafood, pasta, beef and more.................yummy cocktails too! Hard to choose as menu is quite large and everything looks so delicious and it is!!! Some parking, make reservations! Enjoy Portuguese food and spices! Great for families... More

This is a good place to try something different in a casual, friendly atmosphere. There's plenty of free parking and the food portions are generous, although probably not the best you've ever had. With a wide menu, everyone is sure to find something they like, even with a big party.

My wife was born in the Azores. We started coming here a few years ago and fell in love with The Azorean. Food is authentic Portuguese cuisine. Very popular restaurant, so make reservations ahead of time.

Normally a good restaurant. But depending on who you get at the bar, don't expect the best service. Our bartender completely ignored our party as she laughed and joked with a few other patrons at the bar. When not attending to them, she ignored us and didn't acknowledge that we had been sitting for some time with our menus closed... More
