I really enjoyed my meal at the Gloucester House. I shared the Fisherman's Platter with my better half and found that there was almost more than we could handle together. The fish was as well-done as anything in this region. I'd put the clams right up there with Farnham's. Pair that with a nicely-mixed gin martini, and you've got a... More

Fantastic hosts and wonderful food. An evening to remember. Loved the stories Lenny told, too. Quite the entertainer! Thank you for a great evening.

I have visisted the Gloucester House since 1984 and every time I go is still excellent food, nice location, and gentle employees. The Clam chowder is one of the best ones I have try in all New England, the fish is always fresh and the portions are huge. Maybe they shall make smaller portions.

Ate here after departing the 7 Seas Whale watching tour. As to be expected, the seafood was excellent and the service to notch. My wife got the lobster roll, I got the sizzling shrimp and my daughter got the medium shrimp. Generous portions and the food was perfectly prepared.

The Gloucester House indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere can is casual outside with an outdoor deck that overlooks the scenic harbor. The restaurant has a regular menu for the restaurant area. There's also another area with a limited in a hurry menu. The lobster roll was excellent, no fillers. I also had the clam chowder which was also well... More

Only one place! Gloucester House! We were here on a tour and the staff took great care of us all. The whole Maine Lobster was fantastic and maybe the best Clam chowder and corn bread ever. Plus, we were entertained by owner Lenny, who regaled us with history and humor. Fun time great food and service!

Five of us were motoring on 128 when we came to the end and sitting on the waterfront is the Gloucester House. We all had the same bill of fare. Chicken lobster, steamers, corn on the cob, and a great salad tossed in for good measure. We were treated as well as any other patron, and the servers were great... More

You can't visit Gloucester without having lunch or dinner at this restaurant!! We had dinner on the outside deck. Just lovely. Food is reasonable but would call in advance to have a reservation on R you could wait hours!!!! Have the shrimp appetizer. It is exceptional!!!

We had the appetizers as we were still full from lunch. Service was great. The only drawback, from being in the dining room rather than on the outside dining area were some small flies. But the food was good.

We had the seafood pizza, tasted good but the shrimp on top was not from the waters, it looked like it canned. I had a lobster which the claws were good the tail was chewy. My husband has the warm lobster roll, it was basically lobster and lettuce kinda of dry. Ice Tea was very good, corn bread was ok.
