We dined at the Franklin Cafe because of its high rating on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. The food was great and the presentation was memorable. Our waiter and his assistant were excellent. Given our wonderful experience at the restaurant, I felt that the prices were quite reasonable. Definitely worth a return visit! more

We were directed here by our hotel. What a terrific suggestion. The restaurant is not overly fancy. The food preparation is excellent however and was as fine a meal as you will have. I Highly recommended! more

In downtown Gloucester, unremarkable front but outstanding food inside. Menu has decent number of options but more importantly our dinners were interesting and extremely well-prepared. Service was timely without being over-bearing. Shared delicious desert. Would highly recommend. more
