Great roll on the go!

We stopped in on our way back to Boston after a whale watch and grabbed a roll and some fries. It was delicious, not too seafood-y and the slaw is the best I've ever had.

We have been to Lobstah Land before, several times, but it's been a while since we have been to Gloucester. So we weren't aware of the changes - there's been a bar built, which is where we will eat if we ever get the courage to eat at LL again. NEVER AGAIN in the dining rooms. The evening we were... More

With a name like Lobsta Land you would expect to actually taste the lobster in one of their rolls. I ordered one their specials which came with clam chowder and a lobster roll for 25. The $20 lobster roll wasn't very large and was mostly buttered bread. Never in my life had I eaten a lobster which didn't have any... More

The five of us went out to dinner and we all had an excellent time. The primary focus here is on seafood as you would expect being located in Gloucester. They have an extensive dinner menu that accommodates all tastes, even those not favoring seafood. This landmark location serves hearty breakfasts for those early risers. You will be pleased that... Fresh, tasty seafood. The service was fast and friendly. The portions were huge, and seasoned to perfection. Informal atmosphere with a well stocked bar.

The lobster is perfectly dressed, the buns are butter and toasted and do substitute for the onion rings instead of fries, you will love the rings.

This was an over priced, extremely loud restaurant with mediocre food. The lobster was like rubber, the scallops did not taste fresh, and the New England clam chowder bland with tough clams. The prices for this poor food experience were over the top. Perhaps the person who recommended this restaurant went during the "off" season when they cater to locals.... More

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years, and they are still consistently good. The quality of the fresh seafood is amazing and makes the simplest dishes special. They offer all of the traditional seafood dishes and sides, along with friendly service. The atmosphere is informal and the food is always hot and tasty. No complaints from... More

A prompt service and considerate staff. We did call beforehand to reserve a table. When you order from chef's specials, you need to know that it comes with a generous size salad (a choice of salads), so you do not need an appetizer. The salad is served first together with a plate of dinner rolls and butter. Fresh and delicious!... More

You could easily drive past this place without stopping. That, however, would be your loss. The food, atmosphere, and service are exceptional. Recommend that you sit out by the bar for a lively time!
