High prices here for entrees. Stick with the sandwiches that are priced better. Haddock sandwich delicious served with crisp fries done just the way I like. Kind of dirty in the area near bathrooms. Large bar area

Not only rude service but bland food. Everything I have eaten here has been bland. Trust me if you want a something that tastes good don't go here!

Unfortunately the service there is rude and though the pizza is great , it does not create a happy dining experience. It seems like management is the same way ,so I guess the servers' rude behavior is condoned. It is too bad becase a couple of the bartenders are so pleasant and courteous. Many people have stopped going there I... More

We were there this week for the first time. Gloucester is a wonderful place to visit when in MA. and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. This restaurant has a great selection and the food we ordered was very good. The waitress however left a LOT to be desired. She never came over to see if there was... More

We stopped here because it looked like a local restaurant and we like to eat where the "natives" eat. We were disappointed. Although the salad and twin lobsters were great the baked potato was terrible. The service was terrible! We had to ask for the drawn butter, and asked for extra napkins that never showed up. And if you have... More

My niece is a regular here and while in town visiting we went for dinner. It was the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Our waitress took our drink order without even saying hello or any small talk. She never brought my water that I asked for, and when she brought our drinks she left without taking... More

We went in for lunch as we were touring the area. We entered and found a table as no one was minding the door. We sat down and waited....and waited. It didn't appear to be that busy. Finally the barmaid noticed us and asked if we had been waited on. We told her no, and after getting a definite look... More

It was a Friday evening; area restaurants are crowded and have wait lines; Espresso is off the beaten path and there's always a table. That's why we went here for dinner. Yes, the bar is huge and it can be noisy, but the adjacent dining room was quieter and we enjoyed a cozy spot in the corner by the windows.... More

We went to Espresso as we heard this is where the guys from the Wicked Tuna show go on Sunday nights for a viewing party. We were not in town on a Sunday night, but thought we would try it for dinner. I had their Prime Rib special, and it was huge. My husband and son had sandwiches, and they... More

I'm not a bar fly, so just serving good drinks doesn't cut it for me. When it was on Main Street, it was a very good restaurant and we went many times. Now it is a huge bar with little attention paid to food quality. In fact, I'd say it is terrible.
