Once was enough

Since the restaurant was right on the waterfront we expectred the menu to contain more of a seafood selection. The selection was limited & not interesting. Prices too expensive for the type of food they offer. Once was enough.

We went to Latitude 43 for Sushi. I am used to incredible sushi and theirs was so-so, the portions were tiny and the prices far too much. We were famished after eating a great deal of sushi, so we tried the calamari appetizer on the regular menu and it was amazing, though. The flavors were fascinating and the portion was... More

This place is so cold in winter that the wait staff were wearing their coats. Our waitress said she didn't know why it was kept so cold. We looked around and most customers were wearing their coats. We ordered food and got so cold we cancelled the main meal, ate the appetizers, and departed. For the best experience, I recommend... More

Hi, We apologize that you experienced a cold night with us at Latitude. Our heating system was broken and has since been fixed. We hope that you can join us again soon for a warm and cozy dinner. We live in town and have eaten here rather often...every time, hoping that the food will be better than last time. It is not. On a recent visit I had the haddock burrito. It tasted like greasy garbage....could't eat it. My friends had the cobb salad. There was almost no bacon, the avocado was discolored, and the field greens were old with... More

Wonderful sushi bar as well as the selection of other menu items. Perfect setting during summer for outside dining with views of the harbor.

Right on the harbor - you can see the boats bringing in the fish. Close to many places to see and experience what Gloucester is all about. Ate here about 5 times and loved every meal - lobster rolls are huge. Pappadelle pasta is to die for. And great drinks. A little pricey for some, but well worth it.

Great selection. Started with sushi for a app. It was fresh and creative. Had the Bouillabaisse for the made course, Above average for the states. Had to have more sushi for desert. Rivals any sushi bar in the state.

We just had lunch here based on a Boston Globe recommendation. Hubby had a fish burrito and pronounced it "very tasty." My bouillabaisse was one of the best I've ever had. I'm sure the broth had saffron and who knows what other exotic flavors. Lots of fresh fish - mussels, shrimp, scallops and likely cod. We both liked the atmosphere;... More

The waiter was very pleasant and courteous. The selected pinot grigio wine was also very good. The food was good but nothing special.
