I used to frequent the Framingham location of The Melting Pot. I dined there at least every two weeks. Whether it was a holiday, a special restaurant event, or I just felt like it. However, when my mother and I dined in the bar for their New Year's Eve 2008/2009 party, the bartender committed credit card fraud. My mother paid... more

Our party of 8 was celebrating my GrandSon's 21st Birthday. I made a res weeks before and we still waited 20 minutes to be seated. However, we had been there before for my GD birthday. I had asked many times on the phone, as well as our server, D.J., about the Promotions. We had a coupon which was not recognized... more

My wife and I had a great time here, our first time at the restaurant. We wanted good food and a relaxing atmosphere, and we got both. We opted for the "Big Night Out" which is basically a 4-course meal. It started with a cheese fondue course, then a salad, then a main course with a cooking fondue, then a... more

This place is good for and appetizer and dessert. Like the cheese fondue and the yin and yang dessert. The ceasar salad was horrible you could taste the bag the romaine lettuce came out of and they had sprinkled some sweet little bits on top, I thought they were candy cashews and when I asked the server I was told... more

My girlfriends and I specifically made a reservation at Melting Pot of Framingham for Monday night, February 2nd, 2009 so that we could get the Ladies’ Night special, which was supposed to include a tarot card reader and a free massage. When we got there, they said the masseuse had called in sick. No apologies, no offer of a free... more

I love cheese and especially fondue as I make it periodically at home. I had been to a Melting Pot in Florida about 7 years ago, and finally made a trip to the Melting Pot in Framingham for a birthday celebration. I will be honest, for the exorbinant prices, the quality of the cheese just isn't top notch. Second, the... more

I'll start with the positive: the restaurant is laid out in a lot of very private cozy booth areas of all sizes, so it woulod be great for parties of 2 up to 8 to sit and be casual and comfortable. This is good, because you WILL be there for a long time. The three of us started with a... more

Only worth it to go for Ladies Night because it's so much cheaper.. service is usually pretty good but the staff have a bad habit of disappearing for ridiculously long amounts of time. more
