This place was just renovated so we thought we would give it a try. Ordered steak tips which were terrible! They tasted like pot roast. Salad was good, but no chance the tips came close to tasting like steak tips. Price was 10.99 (early bird) but I'd rather be charged more and get actual steak tips. Guess we should have... More

We have been dining here for 20 years and it's hard to write a negative review on such a mainstay, but unfortunately it seems to be going downhill. Over the last 3-4 times eating here the food consistently came out cold and had to be sent back or took an absurd amount of time to get. When we complained on... More

We went last night for an Aunt's 90th birthday gathering. For that event, it was perfect. Very casual with helpful, attentive service. It is the kind of place to go if you can't figure out exactly were you want to go, but just know that is isn't your own kitchen. The place was packed when we walked in at 6:30... More

La Cantina was my favorite restaurant for YEARS. I still think the food is good but the quality of the overall experience and customer service has gone WAY down lately. (And this is coming from someone who was once chased out of this restaurant by a waitress in 2001.) I went there for lunch with my mother the other day.... More

We have visited this restaurant frequently and it's always a good, but not great neighborhood experience. The service is always good and the food generally fine. A few years ago the menu was broadened and the place redecorated. Many improvements were made. I would have like to see an improved green salad offered instead of the mostly iceberg salad that... I am from Framingham so have been going to La Cantina for decades. This is a family run restaurant that cant be beat. I only go a few times a year now but I always see people I know from way back. The food is great - pasta sauce cannot be beat. Last night we had different dietary restrictions -... More

Went to La Cantina the other night. We have been going here since my wife was at school "up on the hill" at Framingham State College. It was good then and is still good and reasonable. The salad can not be beat, anywhere! Food was great and our waitrees was wonderful. Our friends were delighted we took them there. It... More

This Italian restaurant has been in business for over 65 years. Recently renovated, this establishment is a popular neighborhood restaurant. They serve lunch and dinner. They have catering and functions available. Their Chicken Saltimbocca is delicious and hearty. Their entrées comes with a salad and a choice of pasta, risotto or potato, and vegetable. Good hearty Italian cooking at its... More

Good, not great traditional Italian. Predictable menu - decent not great prices. Decent not great service. GREAT salad dressing (Fanny's) - best ever. Not nearly as good as Marconi's a comparable family Italian restaurant that used to be in Ashland. OK, not great food. Nello's has wider menu and better prices. Ambience is OK, not great. There's a theme here... More

A fantastic option for local italian food in Framingham. They're undergoing major renovations right now so it's a little crowded, especially in the parking areas, but it's worth the trouble. They've got an extensive menu and old value. Takeout is also always a good option. My wife had her baby shower there and everybody loved the food and service.
