visiting an old friend

After several years we returned to Ken's. It was like we had never been away. The same ambiance, great service, excellent food. We had the special of the day a petite filet. It was delicious cooked exactly as we requested. Still a grat steak houise.

Hadn't been here in 30 years, but it was worth the wait. Steak was cooked perfectly (a tad too much salt for our taste but that might be just us) as was the fish. Good sized portions. Leisurely but timely service. Great all the way around.

Ken's has been around for a very long time and is close. The atmosphere was very nice and the wait staff pleasant. The steak which everyone ordered was just OK taste wise but had a lot of grizzle. It was not crowded and was a great place to talk. We were a group of 3 couples so it was good... More

First off, we made an opentable reservation - typically about 48 hours after you dine, opentable sends you an e-mail offering for you to write a review for their website. I guess the manager knew we were so dissatisfied that they "no showed" us on opentable so that we wouldn't be able to write a review on their website. Too... More

This place has seen better days. The steaks were over priced and not worth it. Very stale atmosphere. The dressing us still good but that's it. We went because if the name of the place but should have gone else where

Prices here are high! I loved the atmosphere, great service, good bar, and delicious prime rib, but I feel it still didn't live up to the high price. The thing that really bothered me was that you must choose EITHER a side dish OR a salad. I chose the salad, since I wanted to try the famous dressing, and sure... More

My wife and I stopped here for an early dinner after not being here for over 30 years. The interior is still the same. It's actually nostalgic and brings one back to simpler times. As other reviewers have noted it's expensive, but one gets what one pays for. My wife had the filet that she is still talking about and... More

House salad was iceberg lettuce, one piece of red onion, and one quarter of a tomato. Not much to talk about, good dressing. Sirloin cooked perfectly but the meat was tough but flavorful. Good service. Asparagus was awful. It included the stalky part at the end of spear, tops missing on some stalks. This place needs to review their products... More

We ate at the pricier side of the restaurant. The steaks were excellent and cooked to perfection. The drinks were very good. The sides were very good. This is a very expensive steak house. Now for some suggestions: Upon entering the building the smell of stale cigarette smoke was overpowering. Management needs to completely remodel the interior of the restaurant.... More

We had such a good time here. They recommended which wine would be best suited for my meal. My boyfriend was very happy with his steak (I would hope so haha). The table they sat us at was very intimate. We are planning on visiting again!!
