After reading some very lukewarm reviews we were hesitant to try Ken's but we were there so we figured why not. We were very pleasantly surprised. The wine selection was fine and reasonably priced. The salads were excellent, both the Caesar salad and the wedge. The sirloin steak dinner (including salad and a side) for only $24 was quite good.... More

I am old enough to remember when you had to have a suit or sport jacket to go to Ken's. That being said I am very happy to say that accept for prices and a few items changed on the menu things are uniform and the same as they were 50 years ago. Prime Rib, Steaks, Fish, Clam's Casino and... More

Reading the other reviews of Ken's is like reading the history of a small town fallen on hard times. Ken's is a institution struggling to survive in a world very different than the world of the original owners. I could blather on about how my ribeye was supermarket quality with little flavor, but I'm going a different route. I'm taking... More

food was just ok but service and atmosphere were very good. Not a lot of noise from servers or kids.

This restaurant is exactly the type of place regularly featured on restaurant makeover show such as Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares or Robert Irvine's Restaurant Impossible. It's a shadow of its former self. Past the glory days, uninspired, bland, and riding on the good memories of aging seniors. If this place wants to survive- something needs to change soon. Even the... The food was very good and the service was excellent. I sat in the bar area and enjoyed the atmosphere very much. I believe this place has been in business for a long time and I can see why. I would recommend this place for anyone in the area

It has been around soooo long and the quality is still there in the salads and meats. It is pricey and those who eat there expect it. This was the swinging place in the 1960, 70, 80s. Type of place Sinatra would have gone to especially if he was playing the Carousel in the summer stock. Those days are gone.... More

Ken's has been around for years. It used to be fabulous. We were visiting Mass. and wanted to order our favorites at Ken's, the house salad and clam chowder. We were disappointed with both. The salad consisted of mostly limp iceberg lettuce. The chowder was so-so. This restaurant needs some serious decor updating. It was actually depressing. Too bad. It... More

Highlights: Sat immediately at 530pm on a Saturday night. Shrimp cocktail was fresh and firm. Salad dressing (Kens secret recipe) was awesome on a simple iceberg salad. Steak was ok. Just ok. Bummer. BUT solid waitstaff made up fir it...she was great. Food delivered to table quickly and she catered to my 2 young kids. For that alone I'd return.
