Comfy paneled bar and booths, adjacent dining room institutional. Very solicitous service while we were there but burger somewhat over-cooked. Good reviews on the haddock sandwich. If you're traveling and miss your favorite local hangout give it a try.

The food is basic and not over priced, a good value. The staff is always very nice and genrally there is no wait. The menu changes with nightly specials. Seafood an burgers are very good. There is also a bar area with TV's for those who just want to sit and have a drink.

I chose Nobscot Cafe based on Tripadvisor ratings; I'm glad I did. The Cafe is a lively place, but very informal. I went in via the bar room door, looked into the dining rooms and eventually went up to the bar to ask "do we seat ourself?"; the answer is YES; I chose a table in in the bar room.... More

Great lobster rolls for $12.99 - Get 8 oz. Fries are $1.50 more. Cannot beat this. Mostly lobster with a few pieces of celery and some mayo. Never had a bad meal here - Their seafood trio is great. Fried clams are really good too....

We stopped by for the first time Monday night. We didn't know until we walked in that Monday is their Hamburger special night. $3.99 for a burger, with lettuce tomato, fries and a pickle. These might not be exact but his is what I remember that the choices were: Hamburger; Cheese burger; Bacon Cheeseburger; Onions, Mushrooms, Peppers, Bacon and Cheese... More

Tucked in a small strip mall, this seems like a bar that gets a lot of local regulars. Pretty decent food for the prices. Service is ok. Seems like the bartenders prefer to spend their time with the regulars. Not a place to go out of your way for.

We have been here a few times for the specials, fish and chips, lobster roll, turkey dinner with all the fixings. They have two sides - the quiet restaurant side, looks like the early 1960's, or the livelier bar side with four TV's and music, but still looks like the early 1960's! The service can be okay or slow, not... More

My husband and I wanted to eat out but didn't want to spend too much, so we went to Nobscot Cafe. It's a neighborhood spot in a small strip mall. The main entry is confusing and you are immediately in the bar. No signs to direct you to the dining room. It was hard to find a hostess to direct... More

A really friendly, laid-back place with a great menu choice (Irish restaurants need not be boring and predictable). The waitstaff are attentive and playful at the same time. The food was great, plentiful and very affordable. If you're looking for fine dining in an elegant atmosphere, then this isn't your place. But if you're in the mood for great food... More
