Adequate Food, Mediocre Service

We popped into Skipjack's for lunch after walking around the Home Show at Patriot Place. For 1pm on a Sunday afternoon it was not very crowded, so we were seated quite fast and had a nice table by the window. It was a pleasant surprise to find a 3 piece jazz band playing for the brunch crowd. They... read more

Visited with some guest from out of country. Food: Apps were ok. Took a long time and could of been hotter. Ginger Seabass is amazing. Wine This is the craziest thing. They don't chill their white wine and upon ordering it they put it into a special chiller that takes 5 minutes to chill it. We'll add a few minutes... More

Stopped in here with the parents for Jazz Brunch. Make sure you have a reservation. The food was average. The music was superb.

Our most recent visit here was for lunch before going to the Showcase Cinema. This time I ordered the Sushi Bento Box which came with three pieces of sushi, a half dozen California Maki, a tasty Japanese seaweed salad and very good shrimp dumplings. It was delicious. My wife had the Grilled Swordfish Tips on top of a chopped Greek... More

They were great to honor my reservation on a event day on 12/14/14. They told me that would not cancelled it since I made it on line before blocking it out. Unlike that piece of crap Lafayette House Restaurant. The owner called and left me an insulting message that he cancelled my reservation because of event day policy.

We shared a platter of sashimi and sushi rolls. Service was great without being intrusive giving us time to talk. The food was fresh and delicious and dessert was excellent. We enjoyed some local craft brews with dinner; definitely a place I could go back to.

Went for dinner with my wife and the food was okay. Didn't seem like a good value for the money spent. The clam chowder and Caesar salad were good, but the main courses were ordinary. I had fish and chip. The fish was nicely breaded, but didn't have any real flavor. The chips were nicely done. My wife had mussels... More

Stopped for lunch at Skipjacks on Saturday. Great meal, great service, great atmosphere and and affordable price too. What could be better than that? Would go back again. RT
