Great food, best clam chowder ever!

My husband and I were staying at the "Country Inn" next door and decided to walk over to The Copper Stallion. It's a very quaint little pub in the upper level of an old building. As a horse lover, I loved the decor. I thought the menu was a bit pricey. Most of the hamburgers were in the $14... read more

This restaurant serves good bar food and has a great atmosphere. I had never been there before when I went with my son and his wife and young sons. I was distressed to see the strong bar atmosphere with my young grandchildren. Guess we must have read the advertisement incorrectly. The food was ok, the wait staff were fine and... More

I have been here before and it was always so good. We were in town for a conference. I took my friends, I was raving about how good the food was. There was no waitress just the bartender. He was very kind, but service was slow. It took so long my sugars were dropping fast, they didn't have orange juice.... More

Don't go here. It looks cute on the inside, but is ridiculously outdated inside. The service was mediocre, the food was not good. My sisters food was overcooked. When the waiter asked how it was and she said not good, he just walked away. He didn't even apologize or offer her another dish! The menu isn't cheap, and you could... More

This is a cozy little restaurant that everyone should try whether you are local or a visitor. A pint is a must. The soups are fantastic! The summer specials are so creative!!! I cannot wait to see the holiday menu! My husband and I have tried many dishes on this brilliant British menu and all have been excellent, but our... More

Had fish and chips. The fish was fine, with dark crispy batter. Coleslaw was a bit soft. Chips home made and excellent taste and texture. Basic decor, friendly team, nice for lunch.

The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the bangers and mash and it was pretty authentic. My only caution is remember British food is different than American cuisine. I had a Cape Codder to drink and it was very good. I could not wait to have a Cape Codder. My daughter order a drink and didn't like... More

The copper stallion is a great little hidden gem. Tucked away unless you know it is there, it is well worth the stop. Local pub food with an English flair. My favorite is the cottage pie, and I usually have enough for leftovers. Only place around where they pour a true pint. Usually 8 different drafts on tap (always has... More
