The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the bangers and mash and it was pretty authentic. My only caution is remember British food is different than American cuisine. I had a Cape Codder to drink and it was very good. I could not wait to have a Cape Codder. My daughter order a drink and didn't like... More

The copper stallion is a great little hidden gem. Tucked away unless you know it is there, it is well worth the stop. Local pub food with an English flair. My favorite is the cottage pie, and I usually have enough for leftovers. Only place around where they pour a true pint. Usually 8 different drafts on tap (always has... More

Was searching for a new place nearby and discovered it. Had a very good meal, very attentive service and an interesting owner. Is more of a local place than a tourist place, especially for Sturbridge.

This was a very pleasant dining experience. The food was exceptional- it tasted homemade, was fresh and was a generous portion size. The service and atmosphere were also excellent.

A cozy, rustic, loft-style restaurant. Nicely decorated. The food was well prepared, and flavorful, For a small place, the seating was arranged well, It has a bar to sit at. On our visit, we sat at a table. There is also an outdoor balcony in warmer weather. Hear you will find classic English/Scots/Irish fare. They also have traditional burgers and... More

Can't believe I live about 25 minutes from this but had never visited thud pub until today when a trip advisor search turned it up while we were in the area looking for a late lunch/early dinner. Atmosphere is spot on, complete with owner/proprietor tending bar. I had the steak+brie pannini while himself had the fish and chips. Food was... More

This small, intimate pub is tucked away in a building where you may not find it if you are not looking for it! There is a great balcony seating area (not for winter visits!) tht looks like it will be lots of fun in warm wearer. There is a very cool "sunken bar" and it seems like there are several... More

We came across The Copper Stallion because we only made it into Sturbridge around 3 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon, right in that in-between time for restaurants - too late for brunch, too early for dinner. Copper Stallion was the only place nearby that was open, so that's where we went. There were very few patrons around so, obviously, we... More
