On a busy afternoon, my wife needed comfort food. Since we had just visited the library, we walked over to Pies A La Mode and we're glad we did. She got the "turkey gobbler" and loved it. We can't wait to find another excuse to drop by.

I had a lobster pasty that was scrumptious. My 8 year old son started stealing pieces off my plate, so I ended up finishing his fresh from scratch chicken pot pie. That was good, too, but don't pass up the lobster pasty. A plus for this restaurant is that it has its own parking lot, which is another draw in... More

I was delighted to discover they had a still warm strawberry rhubarb pie fresh from the oven. My delight turned to disappointment when I got the pie home. The crust was flaky and nice, but the filling was not. Their odd combination of spices and the overly tart rhubarb ruined the pie for me. My husband and son ate the... More

Nothing says 4th of July like Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie! The day before we had a wedge at Betsy's Diner. It was great! We then discovered the Pie A La Mode just around the corner from our hotel. My wife walked over and purchased a whole pie and returned. What a disappointment... the pie contained spices that did not compliment the filling.... More

Went back again to this Falmouth treasure. They've changed the menu somewhat adding a Lobster Pastry that is mouth-wateringly delicious. Always loved their Chicken Pies and Shepherd's Pie, (not to speak of their Lemon Meringue, Blueberry and Apple pies) but this new treat makes my decision that much tougher. When in Falmouth, you MUST visit this shop!

This pie was so creamy before and it had shredded chicken throughout.....now, it tastes like they chop up boneless, skinless (also tasteless) breasts and toss it in.....you get large bites of tasteless chicken and the sauce is not the same....before it was creamy and had this delicate taste of thyme....and veggies.....now if you look at the sauce closely, it looks... It is so good to have this shop here - you can go in and get a delicious chicken pot pie or seafood pot pie for dinner or you can stay and have lunch there. The quiche varieties are numerous and we frequently get them for meetings, etc. All good. There are yummy fruit pies too - the service is... More

The pie was good and the atmosphere very friendly. Not a lot of choices and a lot less than at Maison Villatte but the atmosphere was more relax.

I love pies! I'd rather eat a piece of pie than cake anytime. We were in town for a short getaway and, while at the Falmouth Public Library, noticed the sign across the way for chicken pot pies. We thought we'd buy one to pop in the oven back at our place for lunch. They serve individual slices of pie... More

I think that quality, variety of goods, and service has slipped since Pies A La Mode sold in late 2012. The new owner does not seem to be willing to put in the effort to keep the store stocked with fresh baked goods, like the old owners. It almost seems like it is a hobby for the new owner, and...
