this establishment has been closed for over a year. A new restaurant is due to be open for the 2014 season.

Used to love this place, drinks are still great. New menu and new chef. Wife's pizza was burnt, fish chowder was poor, battered cod was soggy as were the fries. You don't serve an appetizer and two minutes later bring the entree...soggy. Lime creme brule was watery and warm and the carmelized sugar burnt ...brule should be cold and like... More

Extremely disappointed with the overall experience. When my boyfriend and I walked in we were excited about the ambiance, but that was short lives by the poor service. Our waitress promised us bread before the meal that was never recieved and my boyfriend was given the wrong beer. When the food was brought out we were horrified, the fries tasted... More

Harbor access restaurants should deliver on the freshest seafood. Here seafood deliciously does come from the kitchen, the locals visit and step up to recommnd the menu, the quality shows up and when the bill shows up it is reasonable. Excellent.

This used to be known for an outstanding caesar salad that had lime and egg in it but now they have gone to the same mundane salads that all the other restaurants serve. The Asian ribs are not as good as the original candied ribs of the past! Perhaps originality has been lost with a new kitchen crew. So much... More

We enjoyed dining at the RooBar on Main. The service was perfect, the drinks were interesting, and the food excellent. The pizza was outstanding as was the burger and the chicken dish. Everything was delicious.

We thought we had a reservation because we had called ahead and been told it was wise to make one, but when we got there we learned they don't take them. Either we called a different RooBar (maybe the one in Hyannis?) or someone that didn't know what they were doing answered the phone. Either way, the staff at RooBar... More

Main street was packed as per the usual summer dinner crowd in Cape Cod and it was tough to find a place to eat without waiting an hour or more. RooBar was a great choice as they were also very busy but they made an effort to accommodate people quicker which was great and was how they got our business.... More

I go to the Roo Bar quite often and recommend it for drinks or dinner. It has a fun bar with great staff and clientele that are interesting to talk to. The food is great, creative, and with interesting specials. I love the pizza there...I like the thin crust and there are great options for toppings. The tapas are delicious.... More

RooBar has been our favorite restaurant on the Cape since it opened (see previous review Sept. 2011) but this year has been a real disappointment. We went once and then, hoping that our crummy meal was a fluke, returned a second time. Whereas in the past years the food has ranged from good to sublime, in our two visits this... More
