Classic Diner atmosphere & food

Visiting Besy's Diner is a trip in time to the 50's! The counter & dining room areas are decorated with the old chrome kitchen tables & chairs from that time period. We visited this diner twice during our stay. We enjoyed the service and the food. The coffee was good, eggs cooked well, the kids loved the pancakes, waffles and French toast. I also enjoyed the Hash- the nicest I had on our trip .

Went for a late Sunday breakfast and was happy to see breakfast served all day. Hard to find a place serving brunch in town. Great classic diner atmosphere and food. Pleasant serving staff. Food was great and plentiful. Thick slices of rye toast were the best I've had and the homemade corned beef hash and eggs brought back great memories... More

I ordered the super combo with Hash. This was the first breakfast location that I couldn't eat the hash. It had an odd flavor to it. After a few scoops, I had enough. With three friends who also had it and felt the same way. The bacon, eggs, potatoes, and Italian toast were all good. Pancakes were ok. Not especially... More

Food/service were good as were the meals. We had a BLT, pastrami, and bacon cheeseburger. The portions were big enough where we all only ate half of our sandwiches. Potato salad was homemade and very good.

Service is lickity split. Prices are good for what you get. No real favorites in the menu but anything we have had there for breakfast was good across the board. Small front parking, more in back /side. Very cool little jukeboxes on booths. Today, I had the corned beef hash w/2 eggs and homefries. The texas sized toast was excellent... More

Betsy's is always crowded with a line down the block so that speaks for itself While it serves a variety of food, breakfast items are the most popular. They have fast service, friendly waiters and are very accommodating. They take no reservations but do take credit cards. Fun place to go-a real diner in its finest.

Cash only at Betsy's...but that's a small inconvenience for a real diner with really good diner food. We had cream if vegetable chicken soup, a turkey sandwich and a burger. All were fresh and prepared as ordered. The service was fine. The blueberry pie was out of this world good. I was just passing though the area and not staying... More

Long list of NOs on their menu - which puts a damper on the fun vibe. They seem to be cranky. Cash only. We had pancakes for breakfast and they were pretty good. Coffee was decent.
