Moonakis Cafe is a cozy restaurant tucked into a plaza in Waquoit Village off of 28 in Falmouth. Week ends there is always a long wait for breakfast, but it is well worth the wait. The specials are usually varied enough to please all family members from stuffed pancakes to Eggs Benedict or a Portuguese inspired omelet.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. The tomato bisque is the best i have ever had and is a meal by itself. Very popular with the locals. That in it self should tell you something. They do close early and take only cash.

I go to Moonakis at least once a month, it's really close to where I live, and I like going here with friends who are from out of town, as the menu has so many options for everyone. The benny's (veggie & smoked salmon) are my favorite, but everything else is good too (blueberry pancakes). Two tips from those who... More

Moonakis Cafe is relatively small restaurant offering breakfast and lunch but I frequently noticed how busy it was.So I decided to try it one day for breakfast and was very pleased with the variety and freshness of their food. After that I bought sandwiches to go for the crew as we happened to be working near there and they were all... Sunday breakfast at the Moonakis Cafe is a must if you are within 20 miles of Falmouth. They close at 12 noon so get there early and be prepared for a wait, One of the blackboard specials on this visit was a Lobster, Spinach and Boursin omelette. There was lobster meat in every bite, first to last and the creamy... More

We were recommended to come here and we were not disappointed. We had the Eggs Benedict and it was superb. There is a great choice on the menu. We were on holiday but if I lived here I would be a regular customer.

Wonderful breakfast menu with some terrific egg sandwiches, quiche, French toast (varieties!), pancakes, waffles, etc.. My pumpkin waffles were terrific and the Portuguese Fench toast is a must try if you haven't had it! You can order pure map,e syrup (extra) if needed. Expect 30-45 minute wai on Sunday mornings. Weekdays are much easier!

I eat here about 6 times a month on average. PPumpkin nut waffles are the best. Pancakes to die for. I could go on and on. Can get very busy but the kitchen keeps up and quality never suffer s. Staff are fantastic Karen and Linda ROCK.
