Wished They Took Credit Cards!

Enjoyed the food and service very much. We are a family of four that had breakfast and lunch. We must have went during a non-busy time because we did not need to wait each time we visited. We would have gone back again, but did not want to bother finding a bank to get cash, so we ate at... read more

Sure there is a line, but it is most definitely worth it. I am tempted to drive the 2 hours to the Cape just for the banana pecan pancakes. They are that good. Service was very pleasant, atmosphere was diner-like but it is those banana pecan pancakes that I will long remember.

We were at the Cape this past weekend to attend a wedding and went driving around to find a spot for breakfast on Friday morning. I googled breakfast places and found this place and am so glad we did. We liked it so much we went again on Saturday and brought my brother and sister in law. On Friday we... More

If you don't go early on the weekend plan on waiting in line for awhile. This is a small family restaurant only open for breakfast and lunch. They have a huge following. My favorite-cranberry and nut pancakes. They have vegetarian and use a lot of local ingredients. You will always get a friendly smile from your server, quick service (when... More

Moonakis Cafe is a cozy restaurant tucked into a plaza in Waquoit Village off of 28 in Falmouth. Week ends there is always a long wait for breakfast, but it is well worth the wait. The specials are usually varied enough to please all family members from stuffed pancakes to Eggs Benedict or a Portuguese inspired omelet.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. The tomato bisque is the best i have ever had and is a meal by itself. Very popular with the locals. That in it self should tell you something. They do close early and take only cash.

I go to Moonakis at least once a month, it's really close to where I live, and I like going here with friends who are from out of town, as the menu has so many options for everyone. The benny's (veggie & smoked salmon) are my favorite, but everything else is good too (blueberry pancakes). Two tips from those who... More
