We chanced upon this place for coffee, and after reading the tempting menu boards, decided to return for a birthday breakfast for my daughter. The cafe was packed full of diners enjoying themselves. I ordered smoked salmon eggs hollandaise with tiny capers which was delicious. The rest of the family enjoyed fresh blueberry pancakes, granola with yoghurt and fresh fruit,... More

The food at this place was amazing. My kids are picky eaters but they ate everything. The pancakes were very thin and we all agreed it was the best pancakes we ever had. The pastrami omelette was also very good with lots of onion and pastrami and the lobster eggs benedict were also cooked to perfection. It was a bit... More

We visited at lunchtime (around 12:30 on a weekday) and were surprised and pleased to find no wait for a table after reading all the TA reviews. We ordered breakfast food and couldn't have been happier with the food and the service. We had an omelette - cooked perfectly, great home fries, Portugese french toast, and the lemon poppyseed pancakes... More

We had breakfast at Moonakis. There was about a 20 minute wait but it was worth it. There were breakfast specials and a very nice menu. The staff is very accommodating and attentive. The food is good and everything is fresh. There is always a wait for seating during the vacation season but it's worth the wait.

Hard to add much to what folks already say. High quality breakfast, not cheap, consistently good. During the summer, pretty much expect to wait in line, butr worth the wait. Treat yourself to lobster eggs benedict or codfish cakes eggs benedict. Serve a mean fresh fruit plate for the veggie oriented. Cramped, lines and limited parking are the only things... More

So having read the reviews on TA couldn't wait to try Moonakis Cafe. Went straight away on Saturday morning 4 of us, did not have to wait. Every thing looked so good it was difficult to decide. I shared with another in my party the Lobster asparagus eggs Benedict and the Cinnamon roll french toast ( which is literally 3... More

In the past month I have visited this restaurant 3 times for breakfast. I arrived at 8:am to a line of people waiting for seating. After about five minutes I was seated and I must say, on all 3 visits I found the atmosphere, the service and food to be consistently very good and well worth the wait. My vote... More

Best pancakes ever: thin, light and flavorful. Blueberry pancakes are amazing and can be ordered with fresh blueberries in season for another dollar. Try the lemon poppyseed pancakes and waffles! Mmmm, but only available spring to fall. Starting in the fall, these are replaced by pumpkin pecan pancakes/waffles which are just as yummy. Other choices include chocolate chip, cranberry and...... Rushed breakfast feel, which is AOK as I was expecting it to be crowded. It was fairly crowded but we were seated right away. Place is decent size...not like a big chain but by no means tiny either! I found the place on TripAdvisor and I'm glad we tried it. I might return on another Cape trip to try one... More
