We ordered a side salad with meal. It was served in such a small bowl, difficult to eat without spilling. Lettuce, one tomato and onion. When the bill came, they tried to charge us $10, when I complained, it went to $3, which was all it was worth. I asked for some rolls when salad was served and the waitress(who... More

For the better! Glad to see locals turning a business around. This place should be packed every night! Staff is accommodating & very friendly, fried seafood is crunchy and delicious, in a sinful sort of way. Baked food still leaves something to be desired, but good old Cape Cod fried fish is what this local craves & is never disappointed... More

McMenamy's is right smack in the middle of town, in a really nice looking building and is always packed.....by torrists. In the off season the place is dead most of the time. It screams CAPE COD SEAFOOD, but in reality its far from it. There are actually several McMenamy's around mass. Its a chain, and it shows. My wife and... More

Walking into this restaurant you might think, "Oh no, this is going to be a disaster". The ambiance is diner-like and a little rough around the edges. Once seated, we were given menus and the waitress was very friendly. We ordered the fried clams and scallops and were pleasantly surprised on how good they were. The clams and scallops were... More

Last evening, we called Mc Menamy's for a reservation and were told to come in around 7:15 for a "call ahead" type of reservation. When we got there, we were a party of 17 and were told that they did not take reservations. We waited about 20 to 30 minutes to be seated. After our order was eventually taken by... More

You can't judge a book by it's cover and that's so true of Mc Menamy's.( fast food stye looking tables) The manager at our hotel recommended McMenamy's but we were skeptical when we saw an empty parking lot.We were happily surprised. The name is a misnomer since McMenamy's has so much more than fried foods. We had a great tasting... More

We actually walked out of KK Codder's next door (see my review) and down the street to McMenamy's. We had breakfast at McMenamy's a year earlier and were impressed with the value, service, and food. Unfortunately, our dinner visit was very disappointing. Luckily we had been at KK Codder's just previously, and our expectations had nowhere to go but up.... More
