Fried, fried and fried (and lobster rolls!)

whole family went last night and enjoyed all the fried offerings of this shack right on Falmouth Harbor. Great belly clams (and strips, for those who don't like bellies), shrimp, and fried fish sandwich. Good french fries and onion rings. It is what it is. Fried stuff on a wharf. Classic Falmouth thing. It is a very atmospheric place and everybody knows it. Nice to sit outside on a sunny day and watch the harbor traffic. Not sophisticated but solid fried seafood

Had clams because you know that is what the name of the restaurant is. I ate them and it tasted undercooked, but stupid me decided to eat then any ways. They are all in the toilet now after I threw them up. Don't eat there if you don't like throwing up.

I ventured to Falmouth the other evening with the intent of eating clams at a highly recommended spot (Yankee Magazine & Phantom Gourmet - New England media sources that try to enhance your experience). With that in mind we set off (use your GPS), arriving on a rainy evening the option of eating on roof deck was quickly dismissed, so... More

The name says it all -- truly a clam shack. Great little spot, right on the water. We enjoyed yummy fried clams and a lobster roll. The food was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, but certainly a great place to get your fried clam fill right on the water.

Fried fish was fresh, breading minimal, ample thickness, and plentiful. Clam bellies were delectable. Cole slaw was terrific--vinegar based, not creamy. Great location on inlet of Falmouth Inner Harbor--outdoor picnic tables and upstairs deck. Rustic setting. Note: Cash only. Don't miss this if you like fried seafood.

Very good fried clams and fish & chips but be aware it's cash only. You are dining on picnic tables outside though there are a few tables inside. Beautiful spot right on the water. Steps away from the water. Beautiful views. Stop by but hit the ATM first.

This is another great place for lobster rolls and clam strips in Falmouth, MA. Be on the lookout for it, as the sign over the door is small. You can eat inside (limited space), or out on the dock. Next time I go, I will plan a sail on the good ship Liberte, either before or after my lobster roll.... More

"drive by" visit. Stopped in on way into town. If you're looking for fried seafood you can do no better! Shrimp outstanding! Wait staff very unenthusiastic but we were one of the last tables of the day so understandable perhaps. As mentioned by others cash only.

All fried, small place, small menu, nothing too special. Had a fish sandwich and my husband ordered fish and chips. Tartar sauce was ken's, good, but not super special to justify "best place in MA". Food was good, but we were also starving after 1h walking and having a late lunch. So it was only an okay place, IMHO. The... More
