Great clams...

This restaurant - is what it claims to be. It's a shack. I recommend taking your food out of the shack itself, and climbing to the rooftop for the harbor view. The food itself? Great to enjoy your wonderful fried seafood sitting on the upper (or even lower) deck watching the boats coming in and out of the Falmouth Harbor.

I've eaten a lot of fried clams for many years, but Clam Shack's are the best ever: lightly battered and delicious. Sitting at a picnic table overlooking the water and watching the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and smaller boats go by adds to the coastal New England atmosphere. I just wish someone would occasionally clean the tables and benches.

In all our years coming to the Cape. We had never stopped here before. I have never had Fried scallops without breaking before. These were by far the best I have Ever had. Big portions too. Come slaw with just a light vinegar no Mayo. Will definitely stop there again.

It is what it is. Fried stuff on a wharf. Classic Falmouth thing. It is a very atmospheric place and everybody knows it. Nice to sit outside on a sunny day and watch the harbor traffic. Not sophisticated but solid fried seafood

whole family went last night and enjoyed all the fried offerings of this shack right on Falmouth Harbor. Great belly clams (and strips, for those who don't like bellies), shrimp, and fried fish sandwich. Good french fries and onion rings. Very good fried pickles (chips, not spears) and fried green beans. Soda is one size, and is pretty small, so... More

Had clams because you know that is what the name of the restaurant is. I ate them and it tasted undercooked, but stupid me decided to eat then any ways. They are all in the toilet now after I threw them up. Don't eat there if you don't like throwing up.

I ventured to Falmouth the other evening with the intent of eating clams at a highly recommended spot (Yankee Magazine & Phantom Gourmet - New England media sources that try to enhance your experience). With that in mind we set off (use your GPS), arriving on a rainy evening the option of eating on roof deck was quickly dismissed, so... More

The name says it all -- truly a clam shack. Great little spot, right on the water. We enjoyed yummy fried clams and a lobster roll. The food was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, but certainly a great place to get your fried clam fill right on the water.
