Look for it!

This is another great place for lobster rolls and clam strips in Falmouth, MA. Be on the lookout for it, as the sign over the door is small. You can eat inside (limited space), or out on the dock. Next time I go, I will plan a sail on the good ship Liberte, either before or after my lobster... read more

Fried fish was fresh, breading minimal, ample thickness, and plentiful. Clam bellies were delectable. Cole slaw was terrific--vinegar based, not creamy. Great location on inlet of Falmouth Inner Harbor--outdoor picnic tables and upstairs deck. Rustic setting. Note: Cash only. Don't miss this if you like fried seafood.

Very good fried clams and fish & chips but be aware it's cash only. You are dining on picnic tables outside though there are a few tables inside. Beautiful spot right on the water. Steps away from the water. Beautiful views. Stop by but hit the ATM first.

"drive by" visit. Stopped in on way into town. If you're looking for fried seafood you can do no better! Shrimp outstanding! Wait staff very unenthusiastic but we were one of the last tables of the day so understandable perhaps. As mentioned by others cash only.

All fried, small place, small menu, nothing too special. Had a fish sandwich and my husband ordered fish and chips. Tartar sauce was ken's, good, but not super special to justify "best place in MA". Food was good, but we were also starving after 1h walking and having a late lunch. So it was only an okay place, IMHO. The... More

The fish sandwich was great, and although the chowder was served in a disposable coffee cup, it was great too.... The catch though, is that they only take cash. I can see that limitation for the small ice cream shops, but a cool little hangout like the Clam Shack should accept cards. I really wanted to try their Lobster Roll,... More

Very rustic shack in a great location right on the harbour. All seafood here is fried. We had scallops and clams all beautifully fresh and huge portions. An absolute bargain and a great find. No hesitation in going back!

Great clams and excellent view. Remember that it gets busy, as any good place should, and only takes cash.

The Clam Shack is right at the mouth of the Falmouth Inner Harbor and one may watch the boats and yachts come and go through the narrows. It is a true "in the rough" establishment with five tables inside and a few picnic tables outside on the dock to sit and eat. The clams are big well cooked yet the... More

At four stars, I think this place is still underrated. Simply put, they serve some of the best fish, clams and chips anywhere we have been on the Cape. Generous servings of everything. And the fried pickles! Yum! The Cole Slaw is a perfectly delicious oil and vinegar based slaw. We ordered extra to take to our condo for lunches... More
