We have lived in this area for over 30 years and always enjoyed "the old" Crabapples as pictured here with the wood stove and wonderful ambience and food. Last week we returned after not visiting for over a year and it was a very different place. The waitstaff was not pleasant, the food was terrible - and each of our... More

A fabulous place for lunch and very reasonably priced. I had fried haddock and my husband had a roast chicken special. Both were fabulous. Would definitely come back on our next visit to the cape.

This was a Friday afternoon last minute and first trip to Falmouth! I drove in after dark and saw this great looking restaurant tucked on the side of the road. I drove back after checking in at the B&B. I loved the restaurant! Cozy, simple and unfettered except for the warm wait staff and wonderful food. The "Wicked Fish Chowder"... More

Crabapples has been a hidden gem in Falmouth for many years. We have visited them at least once a week for lunch or dinner for the past 16 years at least. They serve freshly prepared food of all varieties. Seafood is a specialty, but steak, chicken, veal or pork is excellent as well. This is a small place with a... More

We have been here several times for lunch and I've felt that the food was good, but a tad pricey. I ordered a stuffed flounder dish for lunch that was priced at $13 95 with two sides. The entree arrived piping hot, with a huge pile of stuffing and a thin filet of fish, 2 oz. at most. I did... More

Stopped to get lunch. Slow, unattentive service; high priced low quality wine; coffee had a burned taste. Location on main drag convenient but not sure why this was ranked highly - it should not be based on our experience

Stopped in for breakfast - of course plenty of good places to cook some bacon & eggs, but this place is friendly and good was good - had eggs benedict which was nicely done and good fried potatoes on the side. Good place for travelers - no tricks.

Go to Martha's Vineyard once a year and while passing through Falmouth had noticed this cute little place and decided this time we would stop for breakfast. So HAPPY we did. The service was great. The server so helpful and knowledgable. Had one of the specials - pancakes with cranberries, walnuts and apples. Delicious. My husband ordered eggs, and hash.... More

When we are in the Falmouth area, we make it a point to come here for either breakfast or lunch. It is a very cozy restaurant, with excellent food, service and value. My wife ordered the Eggs Bernadette, Two poached eggs, tomato slices & sautéed spinach on a toasted English muffin topped with Hollandaise sauce & served with home-fries-$8.99 I... More

I've visited Crabapples several times for lunch -- both takeout and dine in. It's an incredibly friendly local restaurant with excellent food. I've tried several of the sandwich wraps and have not been disappointed. My favorite dish so far is "Our Wicked Good" Fish Chowdah -- beautifully seasoned with huge chunks of fish. I will be returning for more!
