We arrived late on a Sunday night in the off season, so there weren't a lot of options for dinner. The front desk at our hotel didn't even seem to know this place was an option for a late dinner. But I really enjoyed my fish and chips and their special Bloody Mary. The fish was flaky, and the coating... More

After hearing effusive praise decided to check out Quahog Republic myself. Went something like this: Plus: Hands down best clam chowder on Cape Cod. Normally when I have the urge for CC I go to Newport RI. QR's chowder was delicious. I would go back just for this. Definitely a dive bar,I Iike dive bars. The guy behind the bar... More

Well, it is not the easiest place to find but well worth it. And yes, it really is a dive bar. But the food is delicious and Bobby the bartender/server is outstanding. He does it all. Even on a slow night, he kept finding things to do. We started with the stuffed quahog. It had chunks of local quahog, linguina,... More

We stopped for a late lunch on our first, rainy day on the Cape based on the tripadvisor ratings and we thrilled. The Quahog chowder was delicious and we finished with the stuffed quahog. We thought we might want more for lunch but the chowder and stuffed quahog were filling and perfect & got us into the Cape Cod mood.... More

Great food and atmosphere! Our server gave good recommendations. My husband loved the lobster roll. I had a good salad with great shrimp. Don't forget the drinks--we loved those too!

Went here for the first time for dinner. Found it to be a fun atmosphere with a fun and friendly staff. The food was good too. The monsta lobsta roll is pretty darn big. We had a really great quahog chowder that you should try. We also had an appetiser of wings that we had to get the Buffalo sauce... More

This is your typical place to go get a cold one. The menu is good for burgers and bar food. It was a slow night, so the waitress went home early. It left the bartender and the kitchen staff. The place was slammed 10 minutes after she left. The bartender handled it with poise and control. He was great!

While visiting Falmouth we stopped here for lunch. My son had a burger which he devoured. My other son had a pretty big portion of fried shrimp and fries which he found quite tasty. I tried their "Famous lobster roll" which had an abundent amount of fresh lobster and a nice toasted bun. The sandwich was delicious. We shared the... More

We love the Quahog. Its family friendly and the food is delicious. The only complaint is the price- way too expensive. For a dive bar, it can cost over $100 for 2 adult meals, 3 kids meals & only 2 alcoholic drinks. That makes it difficult to go more than once on our vacation.
