OMG Lobstah Roll

This place is hidden, but it is worth the hunt. THE Best lobster roll ever. My wife split it, with butter!!!!, and it was plenty. Good assortment of beer, and other food, too. Not a romantic getaway, it is a dive (as in scuba or "homey") bar. But, if you want your money's worth, this is the... read more

Stuck away in an old unremarkable strip mall. Interior doesn't look like much at first glance. BUT the food was great. Monstrous lobster roll, split with my wife. I don't particularly care for them but it was really good. My son had a bratwurst with peppers and cheese. My mouth watered just looking at it and he said it was... More

As a local I love that this place is located off the beaten track of Main Street and Woods Hole. I come for the low key atmosphere and monster lobster roll that you can split with someone for a dollar extra. Add a beer or a Bloody Mary and really you don't need much else.

Unless you get GREAT directions or are from the area it's not easy. Stopped in for a quick little bite - got an appetizer of nacho's that was big enough for the two of us. Staff was very nice - service is great - place is nothing to speak of but it's a locals place. We'll be back.

It was a dive bar. But the beer was excellent. I had a Quahog and some Quahog chowder. The chowder was really good as the feel and flavor of the Quahog made for a different experience from the typical pervasive clam chowder available in the area. Moderately priced and a dive bar.

Quahog Republic is an appropriately named "dive bar". It's an okay place for a drink or a beer, and the prices are reasonable. However, their food selection is limited. You would think that their specialty would be stuffed quahogs, which they do have. However, I found them quite bland, compared to other restaurants in town. I would not recommend this... More

I found this place while looking for lobster rolls in or near Falmouth and can say that we were very happy with this choice. There were four of us. We had two of their lobster rolls split for us. They were indeed as touted very tasty. Loaded with lobster. We also greatly enjoyed their corn on the cob app along... More

Great draft beer selection, consistently good food and friendly help in a dive bar locals joint. The lobster roll is expensive, it is also freakin huge and delicious. My favorite is the cuban sandwich, totally traditional... no... but really yummy , you betcha. If you are a wine geek go to C Salt but if you love a good draft... More

What a great restaurant/bar on Water Street in New Bedford. The menu had some great specials and we enjoyed the turkey/squash flatbread for lunch. Their regular menu is the same as the other restaurants. The staff is very friendly, prices are reasonable and the service was fast and efficient.

Definitely a local place and promises what it's name is... A dive bar. Food and service was excellent. However restaurant was in a strip mall off of the beaten path.
