Great place for eats and fun

This small restaurant/bar has the best lobster rolls and clam chowder in Falmouth. The staff is always pleasant and welcomes you like old friends. This small restaurant/bar has the best lobster rolls and clam chowder in Falmouth. The staff is always pleasant and welcomes you like old friends. The owners are exceptional and are always assisting the citizens of Falmouth with scholarships, donations to charities, etc. The atmosphere is typical Cape Cod. Their other 2 establishments are just as great. They always have specials... More

We went with high hopes on the recommendation of a friend. We had driven by it many times and always wanted to go. When we finally did - what a disappointment. The decor was fun and funny. That was the best of it. The service was only poor to fair and food value for the money was terrible. I ordered... More

2Nd visit and still wowed by the amazing food of this hidden gem. Again had the lobsta roll which is served on an amazing toasted butter roll. It has to be an entire lobster on there. To die for. Kid friendly, it can get a bit loud inside with the locals having a brew at the bar but comfortable and... More

Returned again to Quahog Republic Dive Bar and was not disappointed. The food was good again. Great sandwiches and chowder. A ton of awesome beer on tap. I instantly regretted not getting the lobster roll when one came out at the table next to ours -- it was huge and looked great. We will be back soon to try to... More

A little out of the way, but worth seeking out. A friendly place where the drinks take centre place, but the food more than holds its own. The clam chowder was the best of any we tried in New England and was not even surpassed by a version in a specialist seafood restaurant. Make no mistake - this is a... More

First of all, this is a dive bar that has coloring pages specially printed for kids; so it is very family friendly - at least on quiet nights. There is an interesting selection of draft beer (the name-sake Quahog Grog is a bit light for my taste); and the service is very friendly. We ordered the stuffed quahog, which is... More

The Quahog is a hidden gem. Swing by for lunch, happy hour or late night and you will find a warm cup of their delicious chowder and one of their fourteen draught beers ready to delight you. I am always happy with my experience here.

Went out for a drink and stopped at quahog on a recommendation. The quahog and egg roll appetizers were good. The pizza was fair at best. The service was friendly. Not sure if I would return. The food wasn't that memorable.

Expected more, but fell short. The chowder was average for the area and the conch fritters were led. The reason for the average is due to the service which was prompt and friendly otherwise if left to the food, it would have been a "poor" instead.

Recently grabbed a few beers and dinner here on a cold winter night. If you are looking for a laid back bar and some decent food at a reasonable price this is a good choice. If you really are looking for cape atmosphere, this isn't necessarily your place, as it's located in a bit of a mini strip mall. But... More
