Awesome Lobster Roll

We hit the Quahog Republic an hour after arriving in Falmouth, based on the rave reviews. Two of us split the HUGE lobster roll, and it was just perfection! The chowder and calamari were also delicious. There was a great selection of beers, both draught and bottled , but we opted for the specialty... read more

The food was very average. Ordered a salad and had to pay $3.50 for each shrimp. Definitely not worth it. The truffle fries were just ok too

It really is a hidden gem! The food was delicious and the Monsta Lobsta Roll lived up to its name! My husband is a lobsterman from the north shore and would travel back for another bite!! The Island Burger was delicious as well. The services was awesome and made you feel like a local.

Don't be put off by the location in a strip mall off the beaten path - this is a actually a benefit because you can park easily and the leave the crowds behind. The beer selection is excellent - the staff is wonderful and the food is outstanding! Don't miss the lobster roll that has 3x the lobster of most... More

A tip from a local led us to this out of the way, bar and restaurant. Tough to find, but worth the search. Use your GPS and you'll be fine. Bloody Mary's were worth the search. We arrive at 11:30 am and it was nearly empty, but over the next half hour the place was nearly filled. Most seemed to... More

We stopped by late in the evening on our way to our Falmouth home. Great mixed drink, good burger and grilled chicken sandwich in a casual setting.

Erik and his team treated us like family when we stopped in. The space is really, really well done, the food was exceptional and the beer and wine selection was great. We chatted it up and had a truly perfect time. We visit the area every year and have just added The Whalers Tavern as our annual must do. Thanks... More

We were looking for something local, good and casual - we found it in the dive Bar, the stuffed Quahogs and chowder were great starters, we shared a salad and Kelly split them with out asking (Kelly was very friendly and helpful in helping us plan our next eating experience) the lobster roll was killer and my wife's baked haddock... DO NOT MISS OUT ON THEIR LOBSTER ROLL! This was the best lobster roll any of us had ever had. We stopped here per TripAdvisor recommendations and it did not disappoint. The lobster roll had to have meat from 2-3 lobsters and it was perfectly dressed. We talked all trip about how great this place was, the other food was... More

After returning from M.V. on the ferry I checked Trip Advisor for a good local eatery. Trip Advisor reviewers have never let me down..... till now. Our service was horrible. Had to flag down a server more than once and it wasn't that busy. Food was very inconsistent. Kids got burgers, all toppings are extra and overpriced. And overcooked -... More
