The atmosphere was so cozy. The food was great, as was the service. A little pricey but worth it for a special occasion!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at the Glass Onion. It's been quite a while since we frequented this restaurant and after our amazing dinner we know we'll be back more often. The food was so good and our server was extremely gracious. We look forward to many more visits to this gem in Falmouth.

Dined at The Glass Onion last night. First off, it is a beautiful looking restaurant. The rainy night actually added to the cozy atmosphere. Our waitress, Priscilla, was wonderful. Very attentive but not intrusive. Our food was delicious. If the lobster fennel chowder or butternut squash bisque are in the menu, get either one. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I have been to a number of fine restaurants over the years but the Glass Onion has to be one of the best. The interior is very elegant and the service and food were superb. It's not cheap, but worth every penny. We are certainly looking forward to eating there again on our next trip to Falmouth.

Glass Onion was recommended to my wife and I by locals and it was excellent. Service was very good on a Thursday night. We had a nice bottle of California wine that was not too expensive. I enjoyed the pork filets and my wife had the lamb - both were excellent. Note: they don't take reservations - so it might... More

my wife and I had dinner at the glass onion on a Tuesday night. We read the TripAdvisor reviews and went with high expectations and ready to challenge this restaurant. There was no wait (it was a Tuesday night) and we were seated near a window. Almost every seat is near a window as the restaurant is not that deep... More

Let's begin by saying this restaurant was raved about by our innkeeper, townsfolk and many others. Coming from a huge city we know fine dining. This was not a memorable meal for our anniversary. We did get seated promptly on a Friday night but we ate very early. Service was exceptionally slow; over two hours for what? I had the... More

My wife and I went here for a pre anniversary dinner. We did not have to wait long, we did have to wait for bread and our waiter. The lobster chowder was ok, the veal tenderloin was not that tender and the torte was the best part of the meal. Overall not worth the cost.

All in all a very pleasant restaurant experience. The restaurant is early 1900's vintage, decorated beautifully and set up in a couple rooms. Big glass paned windows across the front of the restaurant. A few minutes wait in the front got us a window side table and a pleasant waiter. Service was attentive and food arrived in a nice pace.... For a decade milestone birthday a special place is needed. The Glass Onion is well qualified. All our food selections were great & the Swordfish entrée & Lobster Strudel were over-the-top. This is a memorable restaurant for a memorable moment. Service was excellent too.
