If you are looking for a place to mark a occasion, the Glass Onion is it. The food is exquisite, the staff is professional yet friendly, and the decor is lovely. Count on a wait as they do not take reservations for less than 6 people. Highly recommend despite the wait.

A fantastic place. Not cheap, but well worth it. Great staff (especially Colleen). Easily the best food in Falmouth. Not even sure what would be second. We have been many times and will be back many more. The only downside is that they don't take reservations, so you have to do some planning to be seated at a desirable time.... More

The Glass Onion is the Number One restaurant in Falmouth and I dare say the Cape. Trip Advisor has ranked it number two after Café Vialette, which is fabulous and a Have to visit if on the Cape. However, the Bakery is NOT a restaurant as is The Glass Onion (full service). Both are two of the best that the... More

Always a warm greeting, delicious food and outstanding service. A lot of the food is locally sourced. Love the seafood lobster risotto! The owners, Josh and Tally do a wonderful job training their staff. It's unique and pleasing to go to a restaurant and be greeted by name.

We went this past Saturday to the Glass Onion after trying a few times over the summer and it was too busy. This was even better because it was snowing out and it added to the atmosphere as we were seated at a window table. The hostess was so hospitable and took good care of us as did our waitress,... Wonderful meal, service and cozy setting. Definitely a special occasion restaurant with the high prices, but worth it. If I had to be critical I would say that no bar to sit at and the fact that they don't take reservations left us worried about getting a seat in a timely manner. But we chose to arrive at opening time... More

Had a delightful birthday dinner here. Excellent beet salad, duck with harvest vegetables, topped off by Baked Alaska--an unusual treat to find on a menu. The Baked Alaska was great but it would have been more fun if it had been brought flaming from the kitchen. Guess that's a no-no considering current regulations!

Had dinner at the Glass Onion two weeks ago. It was our second time there, and did not disappoint. We can be somewhat picky, but there was absolutely no faults to be found here. We each had salads, the filet, and shared a dessert. Also had a lovely bottle of Italian red, but I can't recall the name. With tax... More
