Fabulous food.Too bad it's hard to get it

This really is a wonderful restaurant with great food and good service but it's simply too hard to get into.Every time we go you have to wait and wait and wait. Touted as the best place in Falmouth, this fine restaurant is a bit taken with itself. The food is good and the staff is lovely, but in a different city, I'm not sure it would emerge as the 'best'. That being said, portions are small and pricey, though very tasty. We were told 45 minute wait and were seated after... More

Everything is perfect food, service, lovely looking place. Expensive might be your weekly place to go.

We knock the fifth star from the Onion because of long, long, long waits on a small porch without a bar--- even though they'll bring you a drink. Absolutely no reservations. Refuse to answer phone (rude and arrogant) if you want to call ahead to see how busy it is. Very slow service. Because of these negatives we have very,... More

Our party of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highlights: The Lobster Strudel, replete with lobster had a delightfully flakey crust a silky lobster sauce. I had the scallop salad...4 large perfectly seared scallops with a great tendril pea and carrot salad. The duck was perfectly prepared on a bed of the best risotto my partner had ever had. Great service... More

This restaurant was quite simply delicious, the lobster risotto had me licking the plate it was so good. Excellent service but do not accept reservations so highly recommend getting there early. It is most certainly worth it!

Met friends for dinner, and even though there was a mixup in reservation dates, they fit us in after a short wait (probably would not happen in the summer!). They only take reservations for 6 or more, so come early or be prepared to wait during busy times. We were served a porcini mushroom and bacon bisque in a small... More

We ate there on a Friday night and ordered the Haddock, Filet Mignon, Skirt Steak and Scallops. The food was good but our service was less than desirable. Not once did the waitress speak to us but to ask us our order. She never asked us how our food or anything was or if we needed anything else. This was... More

Ordered a cocktail when the waiter came over to the table. When it was delivered, asked what we'd like for dinner. I know a lot of people order wine and will drink it along with their food. A cocktail is normally enjoyed before eating!!! So we ordered an Oyster appetizer to share. (wasn't crazy about them, wouldn't order again). He... More

It's off season on Cape Cod and we showed up at 6 pm to get a table for 2...early right? When we heard it was an hour and a half wait we just left. I'm just not sure why they can't figure out how to take reservations. We won't chance it again as we have no desire to eat dinner... More
