I absolutely love the food here. The menu has something for everyone, the prices are very good and everything is fresh and prepared to perfection. There is a separate bar with dining, as well as a family dining room. This is a must stop when anywhere in southern New England!

first visit to this long standing local eatery. Two of us ordered the portuguese steak. Only one of us ordered a soft drink. The total bill was under $30!!!! The steak was delicious, generously sized and accompanied with the egg on top. Also, the french fries were perfect. The place was spotless! The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Great... More

Its the kind of place "where everybody knows your name" The food is great, as is the service. A brother and sister both work here...Sheri and Joe will take good care of you here. the decor is not wonderful.. but ya cant eat the atmosphere, or drink it either.we never go to Mass. without stopping here to eat and drink..

My friends and I make annual visits to O'Gils Restaurant and are never disappointed. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the food quality is first class, and quantity is always much more than you can eat at the table in the restaurant. Wether you go every day, every month, or every year, the portions and consistency of the food are... More

We ordered the pork and littlenecks, chicken mozambique, and a portuguese steak and started off with some kale soup. Everything had great taste and a great price. Waitress was super nice and attentive. They get extra props for being open on a monday afternoon.

I have been here 5 times now. Three have been GREAT - incredible, well prepared, just perfect. Once it was good, and once just OK. Service is always good. It is a truly authentic experience in portuguese food. I recommend it. If you don't catch it on a GREAT day, make sure you go back. It will be worth it.

I've eaten here at least a dozen times in the last 4 years ( always lunch) and have never been disappointed. Whenever I am in the Fall River area I try to visit. Try the Portugese style steak and egg with Portugese fries. Only restaurant of any kind that I will order the cod cakes. This is not elegant dining... More

I and many of my friends love O'gils (def not for the decor) for their food, but I do know people who dont. It may be one of those places you either love or hate. I love it, so I am going tonight!

...but things were just average here. After reading the rest of the reviews I had much higher expectations. The steak plate was good but not anything I'd probably need to get again.
