This place was recommended to me by two diffent people and it did not disappoint. I had the kale soup and the pork with clams. Both were very good. I could have gone for another bowl of soup, but glad I didn't the portion size for the pork and clams was massive. Personally would have perferred a few more clams... More

I stopped in for Saturday lunch. Sat at the bar. This first thing I noticed was how clean and orderly it was. I introduced myself to Joe who was manning the bar. He was friendly and helpful with my order. I had a couple of glasses of Portuguese red wine, delicious and wallet friendly. My lunch was the O'Gil Surf... More

My husband and I were here on Monday and had the Portuguese Steak. It was delicious, perfectly cooked and had a type of au ju sauce to die for. There is nothing at all fancy about it..there is not much atmosphere but still great for the terrific steak. So many places ruin steak but this was perfect.

They have the best Portuguese steak with a fried egg. This is so good! I love the fries that are in the juice. I am hungry thinking about it. I no longer live in that area but when I go home I always have to get my steak. You will not be disappointed. They have so many more great menu... More

This place has the best hands down pork and little neck plate anywhere. The pork falls apart with your fork. Perfect sized little necks perfectly fried potatoes. And the sauce is amazing.

I absolutely love the food here. The menu has something for everyone, the prices are very good and everything is fresh and prepared to perfection. There is a separate bar with dining, as well as a family dining room. This is a must stop when anywhere in southern New England!

first visit to this long standing local eatery. Two of us ordered the portuguese steak. Only one of us ordered a soft drink. The total bill was under $30!!!! The steak was delicious, generously sized and accompanied with the egg on top. Also, the french fries were perfect. The place was spotless! The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Great... More

My friends and I make annual visits to O'Gils Restaurant and are never disappointed. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the food quality is first class, and quantity is always much more than you can eat at the table in the restaurant. Wether you go every day, every month, or every year, the portions and consistency of the food are... More

We ordered the pork and littlenecks, chicken mozambique, and a portuguese steak and started off with some kale soup. Everything had great taste and a great price. Waitress was super nice and attentive. They get extra props for being open on a monday afternoon.
