Best clam chowder

Loved the place for quality home made food and cozy atmosphere. The clam chowder is indeed remarkable and different, you can feel that it's made naturally from high quality products, not the fat-saturated artificially-flavored substance that you can buy in many places in New England, Highly... read more

Elisabeth's is a small, cozy, neighborhood restaurant. Given the location, the fresh fish and seafood -- especially the haddock and the scallops -- were no surprise. The quality of the preparation and the presentation were. They were the sorts of plates that you expect in an expensive restaurant. There were five of us and we had three different preparations of... This place is really overrated, The food is just okay and the service the same. The noise is echoed throughout the restaurant. The chairs are ice cold. And the decor is pretty dated .People are narrow minded if they think this place is great,It's just okay.

Elisabeth's is your neighborhood restaurant where locals and tourists alike can feel at home. Food is very warm and comforting and great value! I had the oven roasted haddock with mussels and linguica in a tomato broth -- all for $17.95. You can also get some delicious sandwiches for less than $10!

What a wonderful surprise, this is a little cozy restaurant that is fantastic. The food is wonderful and the presentation is what you would expect at the Ritz. If you are in the area there is no other place to even think about eating. Will be going back as soon as possible.

Sister restaurant of Margaret's (just up the street) and lived up to all the other Trip reviews. A late lunch of Krispy Haddock over basil fresca with sweet potatoes strings was very good. My wife had the Porcini Scallops with roast potatoes and asparagus which was A+. It was market price and we were hoping to not get shocked when... More

Quaint & trendy lil hidden site with delicious menu. We tried their daily special of scallops and fish served with perfectly seasoned vegetables and ended meal by sharing the signature dessert; 'pistachio cake'. All four of us loved our lunch selections. Yummy! Yes, We will be back.

We visited this restaurant 3 times during our week in Fairhaven. The menu had a lot of fresh seafood dishes, good quality but reasonably priced. I particularly like the lobster ravioli. There was also a huge list of martinis and plenty of choices of beer and wine. The staff was friendly; the waitresses made a big fuss of our 9... More

I had prawns in batter with a sweet chile dip. For my main course I had sword fish which was great and full of... More

This was our first time here - the décor is very plain. There is a small bar at one end, various tables in the middle and an open grill/kitchen at the other end. Very informal. They seem to specialize in seafood (naturally) and among us we had swordfish, tuna, and halibut - all very good and very reasonable. The desserts... More
