We have been Elisabeth and Margaret fans for years. Both have great and helpful local staff that make the experience relaxed and causal. The food has always been fresh local and plentiful. Lobster ravioli is a favorite as well as the shank that is sometimes on the menu. Love the calamari, though is use to have more charezo (sp). Never... More

We had some of the best calamari we have ever had. My husband loved the meatloaf...came with mashed potatoes , onion rings and a delicious corn salad!! I had a shrimp special with mushrooms , asparagus and sweet potato shoestring fries. The homemade cakes were awesome- a pistachio cream cake and a black velvet chocolate cake. Each were super for sharing.... More

We went to Elisabeths for a late lunch last Sunday. Being the middle of the afternoon they were not very busy with just a few other tables being served. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was great we had the Scallop Nachos which were incredible. For entre's we tried the lobster ravioli and seafood cassoulet, both were... More

The food is always superb. The service is fast and the staff is very friendly and professional. The prices are good and we always leave satisfied with all of the above.

This small, quaint restaurant is a great find if you're in the New Bedford area. My current favorite is the Krispy Haddock "special." It arrived on a bed of greens with the most delicious sweet potato sticks -- absolutely delicious! My only "complaint" is that the portion was somewhat small, and someone with a bigger appetite (which is most people)... More

This small, local restaurant had amazingly cooked food, the home made desserts were beyond wonderful. They had a small but good selection of wines and local beer. Walking distance from SeaPort Inn.

Inventive menu offerings. The calamari was served steaming to our table, offered pan fried, with linguica, fresh diced tomatoes, and sliced jalapeños. Great tasting. Also enjoyed sweet potato and corn chowder as a special of the day. Outstanding! We enjoy eating here 3 to 4 times a year and taking friends along with us from Cape Cod.

Menu was varied, food tasty and service very friendly, helpful and personal. The theme decorations added to the atmosphere….not fancy or low brow, but fitting the locale.

The prices are well work the value of the meal you will have, I tend to get the breaded haddock with almond slices and the crabcakes before hand. The waitstaff is great, the location is perfect and it is definitely Fairhaven's best restaurant.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Now.... no greeting, not cleared and dirty tables, indifferent service, undercooked doughy bread, nearly burnt fish cooked in old oil, foggy wine glass, dirty mirror over bar, dark and dirty glass on dessert case.. will never return but they probably don't care..
