First day had apple cinnamon pancakes, my husband had eggs with fruit cup. Coffee passed even his fussiness. Excellent service, small spot. Went back the next day, and enjoyed Norwegian pancakes (get them with strawberries on the side - no need for syrup), while he had regular pancakes with sausage. Highly recommend this spot - park in lot across the... More

Hopefully if you eat in the restaurant the food will be good but I will not take the chance. I have been for breakfast and it is always great but we decided to try a dinner this time and were very dissapointed. It was over an hour wait on a sat night so we ordered the food to go the... More

We visit Margarets almost every Sunday for breakfast. They have the best cheese rolls in the South Coast area. The service is always quick and friendly, and the food is always great. Dinner at Margarets never disappoints. There are plenty of fresh seafood specials. We also love the fact that is a BYOB.

Let me start by admitting that I caught them on an odd night. We walked in and were told that the wait was 30-40 minutes. Too long for me but the people we were with like this restaurant and they wanted to wait. The waiting area is an odd little room located upstairs from the restaurant. A place to wait... More

As many of the reviewers here note, this food is pure genius. Definitely 5 star, definitely gourmet. A true gem. I went for lunch. Arrived at about 11:20am, enjoyed their bread basket and iced tea. Ordered the Pesto Haddock. Oh my God, it honestly was one of the BEST meals I have ever had! The service was welcoming and friendly.... More

The food at Margarets in Fairhaven MA, originally started by a Norwegian fisherman family, has always been plentiful and good, but now with their more cosmopolitan menu and outstanding use of herbs and spice, it is simply wonderful! Although the acoustics are terrible, (do not go there to have a tete a tete on a date), there is much local... More

I really like this restaurant for breakfast and dinner. My friends and I would meet up here for breakfast often, the food and service is good and consistent. It is located on the waterfront, but there are really no views and the restaurant is very small. But, we still enjoy it very much! One of the best breakfasts around, in... More

This is not your typical hometown restaurant, it is so much more. The dinners are incredibly prepared, a true delight to anyone's tastes all set in a casual BYOB setting. We both enjoyed incredible dishes off the nightly specials menu, but the standard menu includes basic fish, meat and pasta to many exotic flairs. My sweethearts dinner was :Boudin Blanc-... More

Imagine my surprise to find such a unique gem in Fairhaven. Although I have yet to go for breakfast or lunch, I can only report on a Monday, yes I said Monday, night dinner with a friend from out of state, we were both speechless, which takes a lot since where we both lived where the food is three times...
