Great for breakfast and lunch.

I have only eaten here during the day as they don't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own wine which is a great idea. I love the burgers.

Fairhaven offers visitors the opportunity to visit the ship yard and marina, shop at the Europa, sightsee the architecture of the Unitarian cathedral, the library, the town hall, in a New England village setting on the shore. Afterwards visitors can relax, unwind, and dine at Margaret's, a family run restaurant that offers consistently good food and daily specials that will... More

I travel for work and when coming to New England I stay in Fairhaven at least 1 night just to eat here. The bar is great to eat at if like me you are solo and because I like all foods I just tell them "feed me". I've never been disappointed , trust me, it's a "must go".

We love going to Margarets on the weekend for family breakfast. Apple cinnamon pancakes, sweet bread french toast and the Vermont omelette are among our favorites. On the higher end of prices; but we go back because the quality is good and it's family friendly. The restaurant is small and they tend to get busy after 9:30am so expect a... More

I enjoyed the food it was of above average quality. It was though, moderately exspensive and the plates werent particularly large.

The food was excellent: sweet, fresh, succulent seafood perfectly prepared. Many scallop entrees on the menu -- a treat for those us who who love this bivalve and are tired of only seeing seared diver scallops, It's a BYOB restaurant -- something that adds to its value. The service was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. The space, itself, has a lot... More

A group of former high-school classmates, now living in different parts of Massachusetts and the country, get together once or twice a year to reminisce and catch up. Sometimes if we all can't make the larger reunion in the summer we have mini get-togethers when those afar return to visit southeastern MA. Margaret's has often been a place to gather... More

Margarets is a very pretty drive from New Bedford to Fairview where it is located on a lovely side street. It appears to be a home turned restaurant. The whole area looks historic and quaint. The service staff was excellent and the food, I ordered lobster ravioli was excellent too. The asperagus was placed kind of lackluster in the sauce... More

I took the advise of another Trip Advisor reviewer. Thank you. The food was absolutely wonderful. Everyone around me also seemed to have the same opinion and I had the feeling they were all regulars. We had a lovely young girl serving us and her enthusiasm and attentiveness was refreshing. The seared shrimp were terrific. The only complaint I have is... More

Four of us visited this restaurant on a Saturday night - BYOB makes this venue a great deal. If you had to purchase wine to accompany the meal, then the review would probably be 3 stars "good" - portions are adequate, presentation and temperature were satisfactory - in my opinion, the flavor was just adequate - start with really good...
