Scallops

If you like scallops, you'll love them here. The scallops come fresh from the boat that scooped them up from the ocean floor and are served fried, baked, sauteed or as part of many other dishes. Prices are reasonable and this place is BYOB.

Got some sandwiches and chowder to take out, and took to the local Ft Phoenix park. The sandwiches were terrific, and the ladies who work there are very nice and cleary familiar with the locals - and visitors alike. Recommended!

Eclectic menu that offers a wide range of interesting fare. Delicious food and fresh seafood but a little on the pricey side. Still worth the trip.

We have dined at Margaret's for several years. The food is consistent and very good. The waitresses are friendly and accommodating. Go for the broiled scrod. The best and it's BYOB.

As several people have mentioned, this is not a big place. a reservation might be a good idea. The food was good although they may be serving instant iced tea....not sure about that. The servers were nice and desserts are a big area of emphasis.

Coconut Shrimp appetizer was sweet-spicy-delicious. Simple setting, tucked away in a corner or Fairhaven. Driving there allowed us a view of Fairhaven's spectacular municipal and private buildings. A tour of the town and Phoenix Park is reason alone to head to Fairhaven. Margaret's is the bonus! Very reasonably priced with excellent food. Be aware this is a BYOB, which made... More

Found this place on TripAdvisor and was very pleased with the recommendations for brunch. It was a bit busy in the morning, but my girlfriend and I were able to get a table quicker than expected. Our waitress had her hands full with a big party, but she apologized for the wait and once our order was in, it came... More

Went to Maragaret's on a recent Friday night. The food, service, and value were all excellent. We have dined there many times and have never been disappointed. It is the place to go for excellent, fresh, and interesting seafood dishes. They also have great selections for non seafood lovers. You can bring your own wine (or whatever you choose), which... We had a family breakfast here over Memorial Day. It was very busy, just one waitress - she was very busy but was kind and apologized for the wait. I tried the Norwegian pancakes, they were delicious!

For the past few years, whenever any of our neighborhood friends have a birthday, it's a Margaret's night! The menu isn't overwhelming, but diverse enough for everyone. The BYOB factor makes it more affordable. They'll let you wait upstairs in a lounge for your table and give you glasses and a corkscrew for your wine! They are known for seafood,... More
