Had a wonderful lunch there yesterday. The clam chowder is great. We both had haddock, one broiled, one baked. They were both extremely good. Wait staff was very attentive. Will go back again.

My 13 yr old daughter and I eat at the Blue Marlin Grill frequently for lunch. We have never had a bad meal. We have never had bad service. The restaurant has had a facelift last year and looks great inside with a funky blue ceiling and hand painted art on the walls. Anything fried here is to die for... More

My boyfriend and I were on a day trip to Ipswich when we both got hungry, so I suggested going to Essex since there's restaurants there. At first I was thinking about bringing him to Woodman's, but since he's not super into seafood and Woodman's is on the touristy side, we stopped at the Blue Marlin Grille instead. What a... More

We''ve been going to the blue marlin for years and although the portions are smaller now they are still large in my eyes. The hot crusty bread with butter is delicious and hard to resist. I love that a sizeable salad is included with the meal and its not the usual fare. I always get the Dijon salmon and its... More

We go here at least every 2 weeks. The food is just sooo good ! Great service ,and affordable. They have a steak called Kona Steak only on the special menu, but if you see it don't pass it by!

The food here is delicious....very large quantity. Atmosphere is great for a young crowd. Bar is always overcrowded. The place is very noisy but the food makes up for all that.

The Blue Marlin Grill has excellent food, such as fabulous local fried clams, steamers, fried or baked fish, and fresh lobster, along with an extensive menu that includes daily specials. The owner Cory along with his brother Shane and sister-in-law Lisa and of course their daughter Samantha make everyone feel at home. A family that works very hard to ensure their... More

In traveling with my parents it can sometimes be difficult to find a restaurant that we all like. The Blue Marlin made the first Manhattans that my parents like That was followed by incredible seafood, generous portions and a waitress that called herself the crazyone! She was a delight. We would go back again and wish it was close to... More

While most sports bars can be dark, loud, and sudsy, the Blue Marlin Grill combines a large oval bar with flat screen TVs with tasty pub food as well as a welcoming and calming decor. The Grill attracts fans less raucous than cheerful and servers are pleasant and friendly. By 7:30 on a Sunday evening with the Patriots playing, there... More
