I had been to this restaurant years ago under a different owner and name. While visiting Massachusetts this month, my daughter brought me back. I was surprised to see that it had changed and had a new name. I must say, Windward Grille is now one of my favorites. Food was delicious, service was wonderful. It was very crowded but... More

Love this little gem just past all the crazy lines for seafood. Its open year round so you can satisfy your NorthShore seafood fix anytime. They have a very large menu, great specials, friendly staff, nice atmosphere (perfect mix of casual & fine dining) & most importantly really delicious food. Great for a family but definitely make reservations for big... More

The exposed beams of the antique home and barn create a rustic and traditional backdrop for traditional New England fare. Seafood is excellent as is service. This is fine dining if compared with Woodmans.

I try not to review a place more than once, but the windward is worth the effort. Each time I have been there the service was prompted friendly and professional. It is hard to fine a place that pays attention to detail. The food is good , fresh and most importantly the place is clean.

My wife and I only knew of this place because we saw it on a television show. We happened to be in the area so we wanted to try it out. Very glad we did. Restaurant appeared to be clean. As for some other reviews below saying the service was slow. We found the service to be friendly and fast.... More

We had dinner here a few weeks ago and had a wonderful experience, good food and service, for a fair and reasonable value. So when we were planning dinner out for New Years' Eve with friends we thought we'd come back. Our reservation was at 8pm, we were greeted promptly and seated in a warm and comfortable booth, as we... More

Our party of 6 was greeted warmly and our table comfortable in one of the small rooms. I found the staff rushed all evening yet it didn't appear that busy. Perhaps a private party? Something was clearly off as service seemed deliberately slow to control the pace of orders to the kitchen. Our server discouraged simple alterations to menu choices.... More

Had dinner with friends at Windward Grille before attending a concert. We had an upstairs table and were able to easily hear each other. Good atmosphere. Waitress was pleasant. Service was ok. Waitress came for out drink menus, before we had menus. Had to ask for the menus. All in all a terrific find.
