Although the hostess was lovely and seated us with a river view, the experience was downhill from there. I had a hard time understanding the waiter through his accent. He did not prompt me to order a beverage when I forgot to and neglected to provide ketchup for the french fries. We waited 1 hour for our food which was... More

I had the Big Bistro Breakfast, $10, there was 3 huge pancakes, prolly 4 scrambled eggs, a ton of bacon and sausage as well as toast, hash browns. My husband and I split it and brought home enough for another breakfast! And we have big appetites! We ate outside and the waitress was very friendly.

We are locals always looking for a new and good place for drinks/food. The day was beautiful and we sat on the deck. Our waitress was very friendly however too many tables for 1 person. In a period of 2 hours we had a cup of chowder (it was very good) the wings not in a sauce (pupu platter wings)... More

We headed out to go to Essex for seafood and to enjoy the beautiful day. Farnhams had a long long wait so we headed to Woodmans...another line down the block! UGH, so we glance across the street and see this place. There were a number of folks seated on the deck and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. We had... More

I was so excited to have a breakfast place in essex! Never mind on the river with great views. We went there on a Saturday morning before going out on the boat. The place is clean and comfortable, great views. That's where it stops. The service was friendly and nice. All the problems are in the back of the house.... More

A nice restaurant to grab a seafood dinner or enjoy their brand new sushi bar. It was their first night serving sushi and it was great! Our waitress was so nice. We sat indoors with a beautiful view of the river. They even have outdoor seating. I can't wait to come back.

My parents ate here a couple of weeks ago and they were shocked by how they were treated. They tried to pay with a check and the owner yelled at them in the middle of the restaurant. Don't usually bother to write bad reviews but I feel quite angry about the way they were treated, especially since they are elderly.... More

I can't imagine how the previous reviewer could rate the food here as "Delicious". I wanted to like this bistro so much because it had all the right components......good decor, outstanding location right on the water's edge, easy access to everywhere, river view with boats gliding by while you enjoy a meal. But it just doesn't have it, and I... More

We ate at this restaurant with friends and the food and service was very good. I had the blackened haddock and it was cooked to perfection. A couple of friends had baked haddock and that was also good. The shrimp scampi was a little salty. The staff was very attentive. And what better place to dine then on the water!!... More
